Have become a regular here. A great gem in the back steets of Manly with a quirky Bohemian twist. Reminds me of the hangouts I use to go to in the late '60s in Newtown.
The food is exceptional. My partner and I had the Tapas A selection and the Korean dish Bulgoki the other night. A great choice suggested by the helpful waiter. The Tapas range is a great new addition to their menu.
Note: Book early for Fri or Sat as they are often packed out with the friendly locals. I've been trying for weeks to get in. Also check out the psycho Mens toilet, it's a spin.
You can sit in the courtyard, enjoy your meal as well as the live jazz band. What a relaxing night. The food was average, but it was worth going there for the terrific ambience.
Really enjoyed our evening here. We ate in the courtyard outside. All 4 of us were delighted and surprised by how much we enjoyed this place and the food. Will definitely return here. A few good vegetarian options also.
Really good restaurant, great on a Friday and Saturday night with the live music. Sliced beef and butternut pumpkin is to die for! Great value for money.
I've been to the Manly cafe twice now on a Sunday night and highly recommend it for its sensational live music, blues jam sessions, great food and good service in a warm, friendly venue. Perfect for a cold winter's night!
Great location and great food, however, I feel they need more to cope when there is a dinner crowd, which is most weekends. The Big Breakfast goes down a treat with a Corona.
Just OK but slightly disappointing given its potential. Been here twice, both times were OK although the last time there was only one person serving the floor and service was too slow.
Five of us went for dinner last Friday. Great atmosphere but poor service and terrible food! Two of the people with us had been before and had enjoyed their meals last time but whether the kitchen was having a really off night or there has been a change of management, I don't know. Out of the five dishes, only the paella was restaurant quality - the rest was well below expectations.
