The best place for jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and fried chicken. Whilst the fried chicken is pretty pricey, it's well worth it for the noodles itself.

For korean food, this restaurant is very expensive. The fried chicken is tasty, however, I cannot justify the price. The japchae was salty and not chewy i.e. not fried enough and bad sauce. I've been here twice, and both times the food was just okay. If you want good korean at reasonably costs, head elsewhere.

I was secretly craving for fried chicken. Knowing we are catching up with another friend who also favour deep fried goodness, I have chosen Arisun Korean Restaurant at the edge of Haymarket.

Consistent with its reputation the fried chicken was excellent. Served in a large basket and enough for 4 people, it was drenched in savory soy sauce and yet still crunchy on the outside. For a cool evening the sausage hotpot was a very comforting dish with a mix of meat and vegetables.

The service was rather aloof but nevertheless the restaurant was great for large group gatherings.

Service was terrible here. I've been here on many occasions and the service was average up until my recent visit. Being an asthmatic, we asked to be seated inside and their response was that there were no seats inside. After moving around outside from one table to another due to the amount of smoke, which was understandable seeing it was an outside area after all, I asked the owner to be moved inside and he was rude but we were able to be moved inside and, lo and behold, there were about 4 empty cleaned tables. As if this could be any worse, we waited half an hour for our chicken and the customers who came in after us received their order of chicken before us. I find the staff there rather racist as they only properly serve customers from their origin. For this type of service, it is definitely not worth the value.

I've been to Arisun twice now and it's a fun place to be with your friends. It's best to go in a group and order a basket of chicken, I liked sweet and spicy the best, and then get some sides and a drink or two. It's a great place for smokers since they let you smoke indoors, not so great if you don't smoke since you have to passive smoke.

Have been here many times just for their addictive fried soy chicken! The menu is quiet extensive for such a place, and the restaurant is always noisy and crowded on weekends.

Service has always been good but not great which is the usual at most Asian establishments, the furniture is not at all comfy but everything seems to go together with its own charm.

Food is great, I always order the fried soy chicken, black bean sauce noodles and salad, don't ever plan on changing it anytime soon as I am happy with just that. Great value for money considering other Korean restaurants I've been to, I will surely be back again soon.
