I love the black bean noodles there. It's never been bland always flavorsome and they make their own noodles, I thoroughly enjoy it with the garlic chicken and my kids love to go there to eat the black bean noodles so I make it a treat and take them there. Worth trying.

Horrible food, I would not come back here if I was starving and had no choice. Service was reasonable, the black bean noodles here were bland in taste and did not offer anything unique or delightful, the seafood was not fresh and gave the noodles an awful aftertaste. Chilli Tofu was very plain, hard to chew and the rice was extremely hard. All in all, would never come back here if my life depended on it.

A very cheap Chinese restaurant that boast authentic home made noodles. The specialty is noodles in black bean sauce. I visit frequently with kids. Place is very small, with naughty chair to sit on (makes you feel like you are punished) all staff greet you in Mandarin? at the restaurant as you walk in and out that adds to the noise levels in a busy restaurant.

Menus are 2 types, one for the people who looks chinese and the other one. I always get the other one. Specials are written up on the wall usually in Mandarin?
I am usually on a budget so know what I want, had the owner recommend a dish to me the other day wasabi beef $28 blew my budget as all my mains used to cost the same. But fantastic flavor and have never tasted anything like this. Often wrong orders are brought to your table and bills are incorrect so please check again repeatedly.

Food is brought out very quickly, fresh and very well presented. Guess it gives you an all round experience of china.

This is a good Chinese Korean restaurant and I have been a regular at this place for years but recently the food portions have shrunk while the prices stayed the same. There is nothing especially good here it is all decent so because of the recent portion shrinkage I won't be back anytime in a hurry.

Went to the city store on dixon st before a night out, the waiter recommended the soy sauce chicken which was the best, the hot pot was sensational, the garlic chicken was something abit different but was great, all downed with a few beers, was abit loud though but had an enjoyable night. I'll be back for sure.

I like this restaurant as it has a really interesting menu (there are 2 so check both out). Manager was really helpful in assisting us to make our choices and we were not disappointed, will definitely go back to try some other dishes.

A bit different to the usual Chinese noodle place, but I cannot say that it is wonderful. Been a couple of times, feels it is just so so.

I have been to both branches of Arisan, city and Strathfield. The food is rich with flavors, the service is very attentive and great value.

Food is great, not your generic westernised Chinese foods but instead similar dishes but with a new age restaurant twist. Dishes seem to use fresh ingredients, the mushrooms used in many of their spicy stews (I think it may be oyster mushrooms) are great, and even dishes like sweet and sour pork are not smothered in oil and grease. And unlike the dishes that sae112 supposedly ate, not once have I ever come into contact with MSG at that restaurant, which is very important for me since MSG gives me allergic reactions.

It can get a bit crowded at times but maybe that's the sort of vibe they are looking for, personally I prefer a quieter atmosphere when I'm eating. Service is acceptable, sometimes there is a wait when trying to call a waiter but I guess since there are two sections and what seems to be 3 waiters, it was bound to happen.

And FYI sae112, the staff are speaking Korean not Chinese. If budget is high on your agenda and you like to try a new twist on the highly represented westernised Chinese cuisine, then I recommend Arisan.
