Fantastic experience, thanks to Apres I'm in love with french food. The lamb was superb as well the barramundi. Excellent service.

Been there several times and it has always been great. Menu is small but nice, I never believe in big menu. Wine list is great with good selections in Australian and French wines. Cocktails are expensive. Most waiters are French and the service is one of the best in Sydney without the "it is your honour to be served by me" attitude of some of the hat-ed restaurants.
The 3-course for $60 offers the best value. My advice is to go there if you want genuine French dining experience but not to bother if you find the French accent/ ambience/real French food too much for you, they don’t have fish n’ chips.

A wonderful Sydney experience with classic french food. Service is impeccable and food while predictable is superb. Good honest food at great prices. A great Sydney vibe.

Loved it! Loved it! The decor is tasteful and stylish. The service was professional at all levels. The food was delectable so true to French cuisine and most affordable. Our whole experience was enjoyable and we will certainly be returning for more escargots!

The French accents were entertaining. The menu here was forgetable, the serving nouvelle in size and the decor trite and expensive. There was no verve, panache or style. We struggled to validate choosing this restaurant as we left.

Our new favourite local. Dropped in to Apres on a Saturday night on a recommendation from friend, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The room is chic and sexy, but pleasant for dining. The service was classy and professional, yet witty and charming. The wine list is reasonably priced and well-chosen.
The food, while not particularly adventurous, is classic French, well executed and comforting. Oysters were lovely, with a yummy vinaigrette. The 8 hour lamb was melting, but could have used a little freshness with it - next time I will have a side salad. The skate special was delicious. We were too full for dessert, but they looked really good. Nice to be able to see the goings-on in the partly open kitchen. Love that it's open 7 nights, and that 3 courses caps out at $60 - excellent value for the package.
