Fantastic service, very attentive waiter (with great mussels and a smile too!) who gave friendly advice. The spicy beef sang choy bow was great. We ordered all vegetarian mains, some were a bit lack lustre and needed some spices. The pumpkin was crinkle cut which made it look a bit tacky. The non-vegetarian dishes going to the other tables looked great though, definitely will be back!

Just got back from an excellent meal at Anong Thai. My wife and I went there once before about a year ago and forgot about it as we don't get up to the Cross that much. This time we returned with family in tow and everyone thought dinner was fantastic!

We started off with the prawn wrapped in betelnut which was a flavour explosion. We then had the chicken and coconut soup (Thom Ka Gai, I think), Green Papaya salad (best I have ever had), Spicy Pork belly with green beans, Soft Shell crab, Mandarin style duck with bok choy and chicken with cashew. I ordered the chicken with cashew because one of our party could not eat spicy food and I thought it would be relatively bland, but it turns out to have been one of the more flavoursome dishes.

Basically I cannot rave about the food enough and it is only surpassed by the excellent service. The waiters are super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is really like eating in the house of a good friend. I must really try to get back there again soon!

This is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney and the food is possibly the best Thai I have had, that includes my many trips to Thailand. I highly recommend this restuarant based on food service ambience & value.

As a local its great to find a well priced restaurant that you can rely on. The food is exceptional with a good range of specials. The service is very friendly and the decor is elegant but quirky. I would recommend Anong to anyone who enjoys fresh interesting Thai cuisine.

Anong is definitely my favourite local restaurant! I came across it by chance when I couldn't get a table at another thai restaurant nearby and I haven't looked back since. The atmosphere is dark and inviting and decked out with gorgeous chandeliers and orchids.

Service is extremely friendly and welcoming, and Chai and Tim the owners are always very accommodating and take the time to get to know their clients.
The food on the ever changing menu is fresh and delicious and surpasses the best Thai I have ever had.

You can feel that special attention and love goes into each dish that head chef Chai puts together according to the season and availability of produce. This really is a very special restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone as it will more than meet all your expectations.
