My friend who eats out a lot is a harsher critic than me. She would of given this place a 4 for food. I found the food average at best, portions a little smaller than I expected but price wise its pretty cheap. The mixed entree was a little better than what I expected and the fried rice I had tasted ok. My other friends weren't impressed with what the got.

A bunch of us were in a rush to eat, we had 45 minutes before we had to get to a show and we are glad we came here, in terms of time. The food came out very fast and we finished and got to the show on time.

I agree with what most of orange12 said, especially with the staff. The decor is strange, like they didn't know what to put in there and put anything. It's a small place also. In Newtown and Enmore, there is probably around 30 thai places, this place gets points for price and quick service, but there would be the only reasons I would go back.

I should have seen the writing on the wall when I walked in and young man was scoffing down a dominos pizza straight from the box on one of the tables. I asked him if I could order, but he could not speak with a full mouth. Then came in the counter boy, after finishing off a cigie outside. I looked through the menu for a while, and the counter boy decided to start incessantly clicking his pen to hurry me up, I decided to not order until he stopped even if it took forever - I'm like that sometimes.

I ordered two dishes - chicken basil and beef ginger stir frys, then I saw the guy who was eating the pizza walk over to the oven. Yes, if you see a chef eating a take away pizza in an asian restaurant, as you walk in, turn around and walk away immediately. I came back to pick up the dishes, and on my way out saw the only other customer - on a friday night, she has a concerned look on her face, she perhaps too sensed that this was the worst thai restaurant ever.

My dishes tasted the same, except one had a bit more basil and the other more ginger, the rice was not well cooked- not sticky. One can never have bad thai, but this one was the least tastiest ever, and the decor in the restaurant is awful - without any aircon. It's a wonder it has survived at all.

Had dinner here for the first time last night, a Monday. We walked in and the place was decked out in all the traditional gaudy Thai decorations. The plastic grapes hanging from the awning out the front, added to the bizarre decor.

We ordered the mixed entree to start, this was very good. For mains we had the Pad Se Ew and the Beef Ginger Stir Fry. My partner noted that the Pad Se Ew tasted burn't. Perhaps, not enough oil used in the wok when frying. The dish also lacked flavour. The Stir Fry was ordinary too, the sauce had a lovely flavour, but the beef did have an off taste about it. The service was lack lustre, with none of the warmth that the Thai people are famous for.

We didn't enjoy the meal, and with so many Thai restaurants in Enmore and Newtown to choose from. They need to lift their game considerably.
