Went to Amiras on a Saturday night for a friend's farewell party. This place was the perfect start off for our long night. The food was exceptional. The flavours were unbelievable. The variety was great. I haven't been to too many Lebanese restaurants before but I will make sure this place is on my list of regulars.
The belly dancer was awesome, I didn't know that I could shake my backside so well. Oh and make sure you take it slow and easy on the food, so much of it comes out you have to make sure you've got enough room for it all.
See you again sometime!

A few mates from work and I went to Amira's for dinner and it was a night to remember, it was fantastic, the food was great, the falafel chicken ladies fingers and the homous.
The place has a weird entry as the cushion room is upstairs but it is worth every cent we spent there. The belly dancer was too good, she got us all up to dance even though I had no idea what I was doing. Overall it needs a little reno but when you start with the great food and service that is provided, you just can't think of anything but the sensational taste and range of food. This place gets the thumbs up it was GR8.

Make no notice of the comment below.. I am a loyal customer of Amira's palace and I must say of all their menu items the chicken has to be the best, it melts in your mouth, its full of flavour. I was there for a birthday last week and the place was full, its upstairs and the atmosphere is great. The place is pretty new and very clean. I love this place and no I am not a family member so I really recommend going here for a fun night and escpecially having the chicken, you won't regret it.

We came for a family get together and thoroughly enjoyed the food ! Service was friendly and the chicken was brilliant ! And the belly dancer wasn't too bad either.

Don't pick this restaurant! We went to Amira's for a birthday party. There were 9 of us and it has to be the worst restaurant we have been to for a very long time. It was so disappointing. In fact we chose this restaurant over others on the basis of its rating and the comments made on this website.
Are we naive - did all of Amira's relatives write these reviews? We were there on a Friday and were the only people there. On the positive side we had no trouble hearing ourselves speak and had the belly dancer to ourselves. The place is tired - is in desperate need of a facelift and from the street level looks like a downmarket pizza joint. We were told we had to order a banquet - extraordinary when you think there was no one else there to cook for so it could hardly be a kitchen issue.
At $35.00 per head (no vegetarian offered) we were ripped off big time - the chicken was dry and overcooked which was again extraordinary when you think they had no one else to cook for and various other dishes were dry and overcooked as if they had been sitting there for some time.
Service was spasmodic; we had to keep asking for water, the waiter was untidy and grubby. In fact the restaurant itself could do with a good clean. We were not happy and will not repeat this experience and will view the reviews on this website with caution from now on.

We had a ball. The atmosphere is really relaxing, very casual! The food was great, excellent selection and if you're one to try new things and love it, this is the place to go. Entertainment was great, they had a belly dancer on the night, which managed to get all of us up.
They also have Pizza that you can order, they are yum! Generous with their toppings, and if you want something different to lebanese food for variety, then you can order that. This is definitely one place I'd go back to. Try it you'll love it!

This restaurant provided everything one could ask for in a great night out! Fun, friendly and exotic. I suggest you all try it out, especially on saturday night.

Best tasting Lebanese food ever, the chicken melts in your mouth!!! it's a bit tricky to find, but once you're upstairs you're ready to taste the great food, and enjoy the belly dancer. Me and my friends had a great night.

I was there this friday, it was very nice, and they opened down stairs pizza, its the nicest pizza ever. I recommend to everyone, and they halal as well.
