We were seated looking over the carpark, not very romantic. The waitress was very rude and extremely uncooperative when asked about the dishes. Had to prompt her about specials, and she was clearly put out when asked if a dish contained raw egg, as I was pregnant. We left before dessert, because it took too long for a sorbet to arrive, in the end it went to another table we were told! The waitress then snidely commented that the sorbet had raw egg and I shouldn't have it anyway!
My first visit here and I found the menu lacking in variety and food was lacking in quality. Only one waitress on the floor who did a brilliant job for the six occupied tables which was no mean feat. This restaurant has good potential but needs to lift its game in the kitchen a bit.
An expensive restaurant but money well spent I reckon. The food was simple and delicious. It was a little quiet when I went but I'd say on a slightly busier day or night the place would have a great ambience. Service was good. Entrees a little on the small side but still tasty.
The menu could be better. I thought there would be more varieties of fish available in a restaurant specialising in seafood. And sauteed cabbage ... disappointing!!
By far the best restaurant experience I have had for a very long time. The food was just divine, the lobster with chilli and garlic was wonderful as was the oh so tender Wagyu steak. Healthy portion sizes with the meals with great presentation all round, I loved the music. Service was very helpful in selecting our meals very knowledgable and friendly staff. Our waiter was even able to do magic tricks to entertain the children (as well as all the adults)! An experience we will remember for a long time to come, definitely recommended.
If you want good food, friendly service and a can do attitude to specials, Amaroo Seafood is the place. The Panna Cotta with mixed berries is definitely the best! My husband likes the specially cooked battered oysters.
Lovely restaurant, love the boats. I would love it in summer. Food was just beautiful. Staff are young but also very professional and friendly. The seafood platter could have more hot food though and maybe not so much chilli on dishes. Overall a great dining experience.
