My second visit and again very enjoyable. As mention in other reviews cafe style with take away. The food very tasty, mild for the western taste buds (could be hotter for me) satay sauce and the fish cake you can tell they are made on premise. The Barramundi though farmed was a great choice for two.

Hidden away in the backstreets of Waterloo, Allspice was a nice surprise. Casual cafe style dining, excellent for families or take away. We had the chicken satay and money bags for entree, both good value at $7.90. The crumbed tamarind Prawns were the highlight of the meal for 18.90 while the Panang chicken curry was mild 11.90, the beef pad thai was average.

All spice is BYO and the staff are friendly and efficient. I would dine here again.

As a Real Esate Agent in the Eastern Suburbs, I always eat in many different restaurants but, All Spice Thai, is "The Best Thai Restaurant" in Sydney.

Despite what I had heard about the food I found the experience very disappointing. I work close by so I thought it would be very convenient for lunch.
It was full of students and very noisy. Only one waitress who runs around like a dervish trying to remember who ordered what. The prices are high for the area, which is not in a highly desirable area and I have paid less and got more in North Sydney. I tried to place an order for a starter & main to take away & was told they didn't do them. The waitress told me they were closing for business because the college one block up was closed for a month so it was not worthwhile opening! That said it all. Two people behind me walked out & I did the same. Totally unimpressed with the nonprofessional and lack of attention to customer service.

Found this little undiscovered treasure not long ago, and have been back regularly for take-away. Food is fresh, delicious, inventive and fairly good value for money.
My favourite dishes are the marinated pork chops and the fish cakes. It's hard to find a good fish cake full of flavour and these hit the spot. Would highly recommend!

First time round it wasn't bad apart from a chilli dish which belonged in an Indian restaurant, so it warranted a second visit. This time I really ferreted closely through the menu to find 2 basic ingredients repeated over and over in 90% of the menu, chicken and beef?

For a Thai restaurant I could not see a single dish containing fish and maybe one with prawns, so apart from the obligatory vegetables, there is not much else here and I'd suggest a menu rethink with more choice of ingredients should be on the cards along with self serve rice in a hot pot.

The place is small and staff friendly, but it's obvious it makes it's money in takeaways with the nearby throng of apartments. Value is OK but better choice elswhere. Needs some work.

The cook only uses fresh vegetables. Real Thai staff, cute. $15 mains are worth the extra three bucks, you can't match the excellent quality. We've been back five times. Great.

This place is a real find. Thanks to a letterbox drop my husband, son and I thought we would give it ago. Although we are closer to the Thai restaurants in Erskineville we wanted a change.

The quality of food and service is fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone who would like to venture a little further from the Thai restaurants in King Street, Newtown and give this little restaurant a go. It is BYO, incredibly kid friendly and sensational food. Worth eating in but there is only seating for about 20-25 people. Although still relatively unknown it won't take long before word of mouth means that you will have to book.
