This is not another try hard wanna be ‘upscale restaurant’ in the back of pub situation. If you need any indicator of a great pub meal it is their steak and the Allawah Hotel has got it sorted hands down. Fantastic value and with that perfect grill taste the Sun, Mon & Tues night porterhouse special for $10 bucks is the real meal deal. Set in a fresh and welcoming environment the Allawah Hotel is highly recommended.

I found the bar to be very crowded when I went there, but the upstairs is very beautiful since it got refurbished and the food and atmosphere at the bistro can't be complained about. The steak was very nice and the salad was fresh. The potato mash was also some of the best I've had at a pub.

Great place to go and eat, kids loved the food, huge servings especially
the pasta dishes. Would recommend it.

The famous Wah! great karaoke on thursday and sunday nights. The food is great vaule and highly recommended they have a 10 meal deal sun-tuesday and have a deal for remaining other days. Steak was tasty tender and 10 bucks a bargin! go there every week for it!

Since the renovations, this place is really good for value. The new dining area and bistro are great. The drinks are a little pricey but the food certainly is not. Large portions for the $10 meal deal on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Staff are always friendly. Allawah is my new local and I like the change.

Food was excellent for price and larger portions. Drinks priced well for Pub and atmosphere quiet early. Later music (Live Band) was great and atmosphere picked up.

Great Classic Rock Bands play there. A local band "Blow" in particular are great. Monday Night (Muso's night) is fun and they have reasonable priced drinks and no cover charge most nights.

$2 cooked breakfast cant be beaten! Sure its on a paper plate, and sure the pub is a little crusty but when you're hungover this is the perfect solution. Partner it with a bloody mary and you're ready to face another day
