A bit apprehensive about dining here as we were the only Caucasians. The man at the front was quite rude and spoke very little English. Decor was nice. Waitress was gorgeous, so friendly and explained the menu to us. Tried something I can for the life of me remember what it's name is, it was a pastry ball filled with meat, nuts and rice. It was absolutely delicious, the meat so flavoursome. The waitress gave us some free hummus and the man at the front was not impressed. I would love to return if I'm ever in the area.

This little Iraqi restaurant has the most amazing food. The portions are huge and the value is unbeatable. The menu is quite small but each item on the menu comes with plenty of sides making it very varied and delicious. Highly recommended, don't let the facade put you off, the food is great and the service is quite good.

You will test the real iraqi flavor, the test of the meat totaly different it's incredible can't compear not the Lebanese or Turkish. Really you will leave satisfy and happy and believe me you will came back every time you will feel hungry. By the way you might shock a bit coz the Restaurant looks old fashion but it's ok so far so good.

Come here for the food. I went tonight with my partner brother and sister in law and we were blown away by the huge portions. It's more like a little diner than a restaurant with a very small menu but I like the concept of "do a few things and do them very well" and so they do. The meat dishes are wonderfully flavoured, and well cooked. The chicken Tika was amazing and the kebab was great. All with lots of flat bread and pickles to add to your meal. The service was fast, friendly and unobtrusive. Worth travelling for, we will back.

Very nice iraqi food best in Australia but the place needs some cleaning up and it wouldn't hurt if they hire 1 or 2 ladies to greet customers instead of the old sad faces around.

Ok, so the room is a brightly lit, white tiled box. But you're not here for the decor, and you're not here because you expect white napkins and silver service. You're here for the food, which is simply terrific. And ridiculously cheap, in the order of $20pp for more food than you can possibly ever eat. Be warned though, this is a meat lover's palace.

The lamb was succulent, the hummus as it should be and the service friendly and efficient. I had an order for hummus from workmates and took 10 take aways with me, they are all impressed.

After reading the reviews I ate dinner here last week, moved to this area recently. Food was served quick enough, but the bread was cold, meat was ok, somewhat under-cooked, had no choice for this. Extremely basic ambience, but most of all the service was atrocious! One attendant only in front, broken English, he also couldn't/didn't want to work the remote to change the TV channel to put cricket on, no one else was watching it. When it came to taking leftovers home, it was eyebrows turned up and a straight plastic bag offered with difficulty. Unpleasant experience overall.

Went and had dinner here with some friends this evening and was very impressed with the food and service. We had four dishes between the four of us and didn't quite finish the lot. Will definitely go back for more.
