Location wise it's ideal for a pre or post movie drink. Good selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Plasma screens adorn the walls up and downstairs. Good for a mid-week feed and drink, the steak special isn't the greatest, but they can usually do it a proper medium-rare at least. Dips are disappointing, as are the shoestring fries.
Great cocktails! The service was pretty fast and since it took a while to make the cocktail that I chose, the bar tender asked if I wanted to take a seat and have the drink brought over to me. 5-10 minutes later I had one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. The decor is very modern and nice. Although the atmosphere is lacking slightly, I think that might be due to the place only being new on the scene.
A friend and I bought the $9 steaks for lunch one day before catching a movie. We asked for a medium steak and a well-done steak but they both came out burnt-looking and burnt-tasting - but we didn't really have high expectations. I just wanted to mention that the mashed potato accompanying the burnt steak was the best mash I've ever tasted. Quite bizarre. I will be going back to buy my $9 mash again some day soon.
We didn't get any drinks although the place is primarily an establishment which serves alcohol. Ambience: this is a new establishment so it's all nice and modern. The music was a bit random though..
