I so agree with you Sinua, I have recently just bought chicken fried rice and I could hardly find any meat all I could see was rice and vegetable, I am not gonna lie but the fried rice did taste nice. And just few weeks before that I had Masala tea and samosa expecting it to be those home made samosa we used to get back in out country. But no they were cocktail samosa that come in pre-packed in indian shops which I myself could have made it at home. LOL

I would love to go back but only if the food quality will improve and for a change if they start putting little bit extra meat on their dishes so it feels like we are eating meat not vegetables.

This place is a shame on indian food. I am saying this because I am an indian and regularly eat out. The place needs good clean up. The drinking glass, cups and cutlery all need good cleanup. We ordered "chicken chopsuey" chefs recommendation. we waited and waited, eventually it came and I struggled to find meat in the dish. I admit the taste was very good but it is over priced with hardly any meat and service is pathetic. Keep away from this restaurant.

They must have taken over an old take away/cafe as the interior still has booths in them and it looks quite old.

The food itself was nothing special, its reasonably priced and it didn't take too long for the food to come out. I had the duck curry but I really didn't know whether I was eating duck or not! The food mainly is indian cuisine but also has chinese dishes like satay and chop suey but you can also order salad.

The surrounding and setting of the restaurant is very cheap looking not worth of fancy dinners but enough for truckies. But the food is nice not as good as restaurants, if looking for cheap untidy dinner may be other wise.

A spare-of-the-moment decision to have breakfast at this one time excellent now indescribably dreadful eatery was one of my worst dining decisions ever. Back in the day when the two brothers run the place the coffee was first rate and breakfast there was a pleasure, now it is a whole new dimension in pain.

As I entered I noticed that several tables could have benefited from a serious wipe down, I should have trusted my gut instincts and left 30 seconds after I arrived. But I didn't, I found a clean table, ordered a long black and a breakfast, and waited and waited. I had time to proof read two long scenes of a play. A comedy of errors, what else?

Then my coffee arrived - a cup of warm liquid that looked and tasted like insipid gravy browning. Moments later my breakfast appeared, it looked like a pop-art painting of a slum-dwelling breakfast from one of those depressing art exhibitions of the 1970s. A black circle of burnt material surrounded the eggs, the sausage was deformed and only just warm, the toast was a sickly white on one side, almost black on the other and lightly spread with a yellowish substance - I know not what, the fried tomato, round and red and surprisingly tasty must have been put there by accident, a pile of straw like objects that looked like French fries that had been fried many times, possibly in diesel oil, was the crowning glory of this repulsive collation.

This place, I believe, is the worst 'cooked' food-selling establishment in Liverpool; I will not honour it by calling it a café or restaurant because to do so would be an insult to the many small cafés and restaurants that strive to serve edible food and to give good value and good service. I will not visit The Akash Pacific ever again and, being a friend to my friends, I will tell this story in order to protect my friends from a breakfast of terrible experience.

The butter chicken was the worst I have ever had but the lamb curry was quite nice. But for what you pay, the food is not worth it.

I've only been here once and I shared the butter chicken dish (wich comes with 3 dips, a crispy thin bread -?- and rice) and vegatarian dosa (also comes with rice and dips) with a friend. The food was fairly nice although not exceptional, while the value is good, but some chicken meals can be a tad pricey for the area (but oddly, the seafood dishes are really cheap).

Service was extremely friendly and welcoming but one staff member seemed to be a little less knowledgeable when I asked about what the sweet lassi contained. But other than that little blooper, there wasn't any problems and the manager even gave us a free vegetarian dish "just to try"! Not the best looking place, but it's worth a try!
