We have always eaten at Ajmers. The food is continually good, except for one visit, where we were slightly disappointed. Haven't been for a while as it left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. Maybe it's time to give them another go.

I refuse to go there now. I visit India for at least a month every year, so when I had friends take me here, I had a real problem when the only way I could work out the difference between the dishes was by the colour of the gravy - not by the taste!! It should be in a category called "Bland Aussie Indian".

Ate at Ajmers for over 15 years. The food is great, however not once have they given us any loyalty rewards, not even a free naan bread in the 15 years. Makes me wonder why I was so loyal so we eat at the restaurant down the road now.

I could have mistaken myself to be in Bombay. The food is great, although there are thousands of takeaway indian diners, it does not compare to dining in to a restaurant like this, very welcoming, fresh food with just the right spices. Great job.

The best Indian in Sydney. Always perfect. We have been going here for years and it never disappoints. Staff are very friendly and always willing to please the customer.

We tried this out to see if it would be any good for my birthday party. What a terrible disappointment! The food was reheated, even the rice! It would have been vaguely passable for a budget restaurant if it had been reheated properly but there were icy bits and the meat and the sauce had been cooked apart and the flavours had not blended. Not what you expect for an evening out at a proper restaurant.

Been going here for nearly 7 years. They moved across the road to bigger premises a couple of years ago. The food is still great, but I miss the initimate atmosphere.

Absolutely fabulous. Have been going here for a few years and love it. Still think it's one of the best Indian restaurants in Sydney. The owners are lovely. Try the Aloo Matar Tamatar...yum!
