We visited for the first time on Sunday. This was a special meal, highlighting raw, organic, gluten free food. Each course was delicious, my favourite was the shaved beetroot with citrus dressing. MM loved the petit four, raw chocolate cake. We have booked for the Sunday degustation lunch next month. We must also find a time to go for dinner sometime. 26th March 2012

We have been twice since, for the degustation on 29th April - a South American theme, most appropriate, as we are about to visit South America, then on Friday night for dinner. I had the spelt spaghetti with seafood, garlic, parsley and lemon, Meat Man had the pork belly. Both dishes were excellent and very filling. We had ordered some of the spelt bread as well and had no room left for cheese. Next time we may make a degustation from the tapas dishes.

I love this place so much, the food is delicious, I have been 3 times now and we manage to polish off our plates all the time. I absolutely love the Wagyu pizza and the chocolate brownie is to die for.

The service is top class. Chef Simon Lawson is the greatest chef in the country and I recommend you get into your car and head down to Botany and try his pizza's.

This restaurant turned out to be such a disappointment. Having read all of the reviews here I expected a dining experience to rival Sydney's best, but I walked away with a sour taste in my mouth, and a very empty wallet.

I went with a group of 12 for a friends birthday, that was the first mistake. We had the $65 set menu which I think was a little over priced, but not too far off the mark.

The entrees (a selection of tapas) were actually delicious, particularly the garlic prawns. The mains left a bit to be desired though. I had the Wagyu beef which, while the flavour was good, was cooked to within an inch of its life and resembled boot leather that had been left in the sun to dry for a few years.

The 2 areas that really let this restaurant down were the service and the value. Our waitress (the only one that night) was surly at best, to downright rude at worst: barking orders at us, pushing our arms out of the way to retrieve half full plates, tutting when several of us ordered the same main. The fact that a 10% "gratuity" was added to the bill made this fact even more unbearable.

The second mistake was asking for sparkling water for the table. Our waitress throughout the night ensured (almost forcefully) that our glasses were topped up to the brim after even the slightest of sips. Bottles were not left on the table for us to top up ourselves, but were whisked out from the kitchen at a dizzying rate. The worst part? These bottles were $9 each!! The total for just water ended up being $120! for 12 people!

Our $65 dollar banquets ended up being $65 to $85 with the addition of the water and "gratuity", and that doesn't even include alcohol. We all felt cheated by this, and when we raised our concern with the waitress she had little to say other than she "appreciated our point of view".

I will certainly not be going back.

Very good tapas with a great understanding of food! Their originalish pizzas are fantastic and the spelt cake was delicious! All very good value too!

I love this place. It would be my favourite place in Sydney. I dined here on Friday night with a friend and the food and service were amazing. We shared 3 tapas plates, the pumpkin pizza and two desserts. The chocolate spelt brownie is to die for! Its worth visiting just for that. All up, with a bottle of wine, we paid $121. Well worth it I thought. I can't wait to go back! This place is an absolute gem!

Food is amazing and they have made the 3 times we have already been a great dining experience. Great selection of wine and beers as well which is a bonus as it just down the road and we can leave the car at home.

The food was fresh and very yummy, as it has been every time we have been there. It was the first time for our friends and they said they will be back, they loved it as well! The waiting staff were helpful, efficient and pleasant. It is a beautiful setting and seems so cheap for such good quality food, and lots of it, we were so full but just had to have the chocolate brownie, very worthwhile!

We came here expecting fine food from an organic restaurant, I would have thought that they were putting immense amount of effort considering that it took an entire hour for them to bring our food out.

There was only one person waiting the tables but there were maybe five total tables to wait 3 of them already had their food, yet the wait is unacceptable as was the service.

The food here is divine! You can taste the quality produce, beautifully presented and cooked with love. Well that was my experience last night when I dined at Agape with my partner. We ordered two tapas plates, the grilled haloumi and a mushroom dish, shared a prawn pizza and finished with meringue poached berries and sorbet Yum! We can't wait to bring friends to experience this delicious and beautiful food.
