I went here with my mum using a Red Balloon voucher she was given. The breakfast was very nice. I didn't have wine but she did and said it was good. The food was great, a hot plate which we ate first, then a cold, sweet plate. I wish that the waiters had taken away the dinner plates we had between courses though, as nobody wants sausage juice on their blueberry croissant! The waitress left a lot to be desired, so we were glad when she seemingly forgot us and was replaced with a very nice waiter.

Sunday night out with my boyfriend. We were seated a table for two in a corner in the dark without near a heater where we were seated outside this time of the year! (Winter). Ordered a snapper with kipper potatoes. The fish came out whole, bones, scale, head attached and all! Disappointed that the fish wasn't filleted has everyone hates eating fish with bones and scales in the way. Chef prob did not care, what if a pensioner had ordered the fish? What if someone choked and used, the menu didn't state that It would come with bones and all!

If you have a few hours to kill and a good set of teeth, then this the place for you. The restaurant sits in a great location. They have 3 wait staff who run around like crazy yet not able to cope. Chef's on display, which looks good but overcooks lovely big pieces of meat. I went for a special occasion that was turned into a disappointing experience.

We had dinner here on Australia Day 26 January 2013. We had no booking, so we were wondering whether they would be able to manage a table for us. Lucky enough, they said that they just had a cancellation for table for 4. We were very glad. Although a bit noisy surrounding, the service was really attentive, and we were looked after very nicely considering how busy they were at the time. The food presentation and taste was good, no complaint for such a busy service. At 9 pm we had chance to see the fireworks, that was a real bonus.

We spent NYE at Adria's rebar & grill - Cockle Bay (2012). Not only did we have a perfect view of the fireworks but I will also say that the food was very good. With a set menu, you had a selection of a number of dishes. my pork belly was delicious! My entree of bbq king prawns was out of this world! The service was fantastic, nothing was a problem. From the day I booked a table of 12 ( 3 months in advance) they actioned all my requests and I will say, I'm not the easiest customer to please.
They had a dj playing music suited for all, I couldn't fault anything....

Lunch special was fantastic. We loved our meals, will definitely return. Only problem was deciding what of the wonderful options to order.

Champagne Breakfast For 2. Food was cold and the service very slow, order a coffee and wait 20 minutes slow. Not recommended for the $40 per head cost.

Came here on a Saturday morning with my partner and were provided a table close to the bar/kitchen, next to a wall. I asked if we could sit outside closer to the boardwalk as it was a sunny day and there were not many people there yet which was understandable by staff.
We both ordered the big breakfast and tasted fine, though came out rather quickly and could tell it would have all just been heated up or something equivalent.
Prices for a water front restaurant in the Nick's chain were actually quite good - 2 big breakfasts, 2 coffees and a juice and I received change from a $50. I would go back here if it was just for a quick bite to eat though wasn't anything too special either!

We came to Adrias after searching around for restaurants but the waiting times were just too long. We were sat onto a table with a great view of the harbour, apart from a foul smell of old fish picked up in the breeze. Our waitress took our order but strangely didn't write it down. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which they didn't have, so they gave us a menu from another restaurant next door, again choose, again they didn't have the bottle, eventually we found a bottle that they did have.
40 minutes later our main meals came but we were still awaiting for our entree, twice the waiter came to our table with the main meals until we asked for the manager. She apologised and said the entree is on its way, 20 minutes later the entree came. Then the mains came another 15 minutes after they took our entree plates away.
When we sat down the couple behind us still hadn't received their mains they had been waiting for over an hour, when they told us that their waitress had taken the order and then went home! Our mains were cold, potatoes and vegetables an embarrassing quantity given.
Expensively priced, poor service and not really any good even if the food is free! Would not recommend or come here again.

Food was great, but the service was a disgrace, how can your main meal arrive before your drinks? No apologies from the staff and I will not be going back!
