The food here is pretty good, especially the Thai Tom Yum with coconut milk noodles. You can actually see the herbs and spices that they mix in, like lemongrass galangal and lime leaves. It's refreshing to see a properly done noodle soup in a takeaway place.
Service is self serve, and you get paged with a buzzer.
Unfortunately, this place seriously needs some music as it's so silent in here (especially dinner time) and any noise made just echos around the restaurant.

It was my first time eating here. We ordered some Thai curry and South-Eastern noodles. The food was fresh and tasted great! The dishes were large in size and suited the value, although there was no table service. It was worth it! I would definitely come again to dine in or just have some take away!

Great location, fantastic chopsticks, clean water, food can random depending on food and produce delivery day. The management skills are poor as well as the service. I agree with the previous members comments made below.

We went to Ace for the first time in a while today, and felt quality had deteriorated considerably. Skimped on ingredients, and all dishes (seafood rice noodle and others) tasted like cheap, cheap cooking oil. Will not go again.

I had the wonton noodle soup and I loved it. The servings are huge and freshly prepared and cooked. Simple and comfortable furnishings, however, it does get crowded thus noisy. There is no real service as you pay and get a buzzer to pick the food when it's ready. We last went there with a group of 10, had a table reserved for us and all food came out at the same time on the one buzzer.

This place is cheap, cheerful and clean. We went on a weekend at about 3 pm, and were among the only people in the place. The Pad Thai was ordinary, with far too much dark soy (tasted like thai food cooked by chinese which is what it was), and the wonton soup was quite good.
Being among the only people there, the ambience was terrible, with every scrape of a spoon or chair leg echoing through the place. When the kitchen staff came out and sat a few tables away, and proceed to very loudly slurp and belch his way through a bowl of soup, it was highly offputting. This place seriously needs some piped music or something.
I would go again if I was after some quick takeaway.

Food: Great authentic Thai food, the best laksa you will ever have in Sydney! the Singapore noodles is fabulous also.
Ambience: Simple and comfortable with a "make yourself at home" feel.
Service: There is not much service. You usually pay and get a buzzer to pick the food when it's ready. The great thing though is that they can change the meal to have it just the way you like it
Value: The value is reasonable . The servings are huge and freshly prepared and cooked.
One downside to this place is that sometimes it is fulled up and there may be not enough seats however, they do bookings.

Not the best Asian food. But for value for money its great. Wonton Soup is my personel fave. Have been a number of times and continue to go back.

I've been to Ace Noodles many times and have both eaten in the restaurant and ordered take away. Each time they have catered to my many allergies and have been great. I always get the fried rice with BBQ pork, yummy! When you eat in, it can take a while to get your food, so pre-order if you can. Overall nice place.

Despite the name, the noodles here are not ace. Having eaten here twice with a group of Chinese friends, the general consensus is that the fried noodles aren't very authentic (all seem to be cooked in oyster sauce!). However, the wonton soup noodles were fine. The only dish I'd really recommend is the tofu salad.
