Wow, great food, friendly staff, and no long waiting periods for food even though they were very busy (on a Tuesday night??). Chicken Tikka was especially divine, can't wait to go back.

Great Indian food and excellent service. Every dish came out perfectly. Wait staff had great knowledge of menu and were very friendly. Highly recommend.

We dine for dinner yesterday. The place is clean and well presented. We are very impressed with the entrée presentation and they tasted fantastic, except the basic dish of garlic naan it is tasteless.

We ordered 7 main meals, overpriced for the portion you get. The butter chicken was the worst I have ever tasted. Other dishes I would say not up to expectation at all, bland and not authentic. The food is extremely overpriced for Indian food. Indian food is one of my favourite and I have tried many of them. So, this one I definitely won’t coming back.

Abhi's food is delicious and the venue looks fantastic. The service could be better though and it is overpriced for the portions you receive. I would definitely recommend if you want to try Indian and don’t care about the price.

Tasty food (we had a king prawn and an eggplant dish with kashmari rice), although shame about the fake gritty garlic on the naan. Appropriate service too. Just a letdown on the plain setting upstairs.

This restaurant is in my opinion overrated. I have had much better food and service in much cheaper Indian restaurants. The food is extremely overpriced for Indian food.

This is my absolute favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney! The service is of a consistently high standard and the food is always delicious and of a very high standard (meats are never dry or fatty which I have found is common in most Indian restaurants). The butter chicken is my favourite dish along with the angari chops. There is also a lamb pancake entree (can't remeber the name) which is always really yummy too.

The ambience is definitely nicer downstairs, however the one time we were seated next to a big group upstairs, they were more than happy to move us back downstairs upon request. All in all, after 10 plus visits in the last few years, we are very satisfied!

I've only been here once for a birthday get-together with family. The chaat is to die for! I was craving it for weeks after my visit! Aside from the chaat the rest of the food was good and presented well but I wasn't blown away by any of those dishes.

The ambience is nice but it is way too dark..maybe that was just because we were in the function room upstairs. The service was great as we had our own waitstaff taking care of us upstairs (and we were the only party dining upstairs), we were actually served by Abhi himself (the chef's son) for whom the restaurant was named.

This place is a bit pricey if you think about all the other Indian restaurants in Sydney but it's a classier joint and the prices match that. I would definitely go back just to get some chaat!
