My partner and I love this restaurant, every time we stay in Blackheath, we always make sure that we visit Abbott's for a meal.
The food is absolutely divine and a perfect size, not too small and not too large, the service is always quick and efficient and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is great - feels very cosy and warm as soon as you walk inside. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Bitterly disappointed. With such a great menu, I was surprised at the disappointing taste. I had the pork which was simply swimming in soy sauce, barely two mouthfuls tolerable. My wife's fish (ocean trout) which was not ocean trout, no taste at all. Out of stock of beers on the menu, and one waiter servicing 5 tables (us a party of 16). $65 for 3 courses expensive for what was produced.

21 of us went up to Blackheath at the weekend to celebrate Christmas in July. Due having to arrange dinner for 21 people on Saturday night, Friday night we left everyone up to their own devices. I had booked a table for 12 at Abbotts guessing that everyone would want to join us for dinner and knowing what with the traffic leaving Sydney on a Friday night, a few people might be late! The 12 of us arrived at Abbotts, closely followed by the other 9 of our group.
They squezzed everyone in as best as they could and even though the tables were exactly easy to move around not once did the staff even look aggitated. They put on a Christmas CD and then singing started. The food was amazing, the ambience was out of this world and the staff were FANTASTIC. If you are ever in the Blue Mountains this restaurant is a must! I will be back for sure, there is not one thing that you can say about this place that is bad!!!

I was absolutley satisfied with everything that Abbotts had to offer. I have since returned on a number of occasions and recommend Abbotts to customers and tourists that come in to my workplace. Always a delight and the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy. Tha chef is a fantastic guy and brings humour to a wonderful meal.

All I can say is that the food and dining experience we recently had at Abbotts was exquiste and completely yummy from beginning to end. The icing on the cake was the price compared to what you would pay in Sydney for the same food and service. We'll definitely be back next time when we are in the area. A must visit for anyone who likes great food.

We booked this at the last minute and had a fantastic dinner. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. My husband is vegetarian and they provided him with a wide range of options and were incredibly accommodating. One of the best meals, I have had and I've eaten at most "top notch" Sydney restaurants. Quite a find.
