It was a quiet wednesday night, so the serivce was great as there were few other tables being waited on. Everything else about it was alright. Nothing outstanding, nothing bad.
I had previously heard many good things about this restaurant, unfortunately, my experience was around a week ago was terrible. The wrong food was brought out, it was dry and not very tasty, the manager spent 20 minutes argueing with our table about the service and food when the complaint was made rather than accepting responsibility for it so we could all just move on. I do plenty of corporate function entertaining and I will not be taking any of my clients to this restaurant again. This is unfortunate considering the good news experience I had heard about previously.
We had a fabulous time, the food was excellent, the service average to good, beats some of the other tacky Indian restaurants I've been to. Thank you for a wonderful evening zinny, we'll definitely be back!
My food was awful and the service was a huge let down. We had to keep asking/reminding the waitress for the various things we had ordered. When we complained she was very off hand and quite rude. We won't be back!!!
Very good Indian food though a little pricey. Lots of flavour in the hot tasty food. The decor is refreshing and cool. Certainly not your Indian take-away masquerading as a restaurant.
My food was horrible though my partner enjoyed hers. Not as hot as she requested. Didn't complain until asked why I hadn't eaten the food. When I pointed out that the cheese was chewy (vegetarian dish) and the sauce unpleasant, the staff dipped her finger in the sauce and told me it tasted good but too thick. She would pass my comments to the chef. No point, I won't be going back.
Best Indian food I've had in Australia since moving from the UK a couple of years ago. They're willing to accommodate requests that aren't on the menu and the tandori lamb cutlets are awesome. Not the cheapest but well worth it.
