Admittedy value was terrific since we were using an Ouffer voucher, however, my 3 friends and I enjoyed a wonderful tasty, interesting 3 course meal served in elegant surroundings. The staff were pleasant and attentive, coping well and senstively with one of our party arriving late. As an indian food devotee, the naan were the best I have had in Sydney, light, not too thick and deliciously slightly crisp with a full bread flavour.

We had a pleasant meal with good service. The restaurant was very quiet, Monday Night but that shouldn't put people off going.

We have eaten here 2-3 times over the past 12 months and have always enjoyed the food. The service is excellent and staff more than knowledgeable. Only quip this time was that the Lamb Roganjosh was very mild (when described as medium).

Being an aficionado of Indian restaurants and growing up in the country that invented the Balti (and more embarassingly, the Tindaloo!) I feel qualified to say that this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in Sydney.

At a Taste of India, you can choose mild, medium or hot strength for most dishes, and taste India with whatever level of bravery you wish! This increases the selection of dishes further in an already extensive menu. All dishes we tried were extremely tasty. So much so that we helped them out in cleaning the dishes, by mopping up the sauces with our naan breads.

The decor is very nice with white drapes across the ceiling and smartly dressed staff. The portion sizes, which I have an issue with in 90% of Aussie curry houses, are great here so I have no qualms with the value of the dishes. I still loathe to pay for each individual pickle/chutney to accompany the poppadoms, though as this seems to be common to all Indian restaurants in Australia it might require some sort of large scale campaign to change this practice. Please join me in fighting for this change!

It was a quiet wednesday night, so the serivce was great as there were few other tables being waited on. Everything else about it was alright. Nothing outstanding, nothing bad.

I had previously heard many good things about this restaurant, unfortunately, my experience was around a week ago was terrible. The wrong food was brought out, it was dry and not very tasty, the manager spent 20 minutes argueing with our table about the service and food when the complaint was made rather than accepting responsibility for it so we could all just move on. I do plenty of corporate function entertaining and I will not be taking any of my clients to this restaurant again. This is unfortunate considering the good news experience I had heard about previously.

This is one of my fave restaurant, I do find them a bit pushy. The food is always beautiful!!!

We had a fabulous time, the food was excellent, the service average to good, beats some of the other tacky Indian restaurants I've been to. Thank you for a wonderful evening zinny, we'll definitely be back!
