Terrific italian restaurant in the heart of leichhardt. The marinara is great.

This is my favourite Italian restaurant in Leichhardt. The bride always has the Spaghetti Marinara which she says is the best she has had anywhere. The pasta is perfect and the seafood is fresh that day and beautifully presented. My fav is Penne Salsiccia with extra chilli. The Italian sausage is to die for. Authentic Italian food cooked and served by authentic Italians. It doesn't get better than this.

The food here is very tasty and we enjoy picking dishes off the specials menu to try, all of which have been very pleasant. Service is a bit of a hit and miss, unfortunately, which is a shame since we love the food here.

When the service is good, they are welcoming, attentive and friendly. When it's bad, they leave you standing at the front feeling very awkward, with no acknowledgement. There's even been a time where they told us that the kitchen was flat out so there would be at least an hour wait for food.

I do continue to come here regardless of the inconsistent service, hopefully their service gets better as the food is nice.

Just love this place, have been several times and the food and service is consistently good. Chef looks to be permanently grumpy, but if he keeps turning out tasty treats such as the Veal and capers, and the spaghetti marinara I would saÿ don't change. Service is always fast and efficient, loved it.

Dropped into this restaurant in search of some "Italian Mama's cooking" on Norton St and we weren't disappointed. Just been to the NRL Grand final at ANZ Stadium. The food and service was great and good value. My wife had a spaghetti bolagnaise and I had the Veal Limone. Liked it so much I booked my birthday here this Friday.

I ate here around a year ago, the food was reasonably good and well presented with fair prices. The one thing that has made me never go back was that the waiter spilt red, garlic rich nepolitana sauce on my shoulder when trying to place it on the table. It was still hot and it was very embarrassing. It ruined my night and I barely received an apology.

This is a great restaurant for the cost of your meal the food is exceptional. Big serves and flavoursome food. BYO and book you won't be disappointed. The broccoli and prawn pasta is a favourite.

My partner and I ate at this wonderful authentic Italian restaurant and would be delighted to return to taste more on the menu. Teresa my partner is from southern Italy and we took her parents who were in Australia for a holiday. The food was just like home cooked and they gave 5 stars for presentation, service, and taste.
This is best in Sydney.

Not the flashiest place in the world, but considering I came all the way from Melbourne, I would have to say that compared to some of the other Italian places I have frequented in Sydney, this stands up to being one of the best.

Food was over and above what you would expect for the price, don't know what some of these other so called critics are on about, but I have been all over the world to some of the best known restaurants, and I guess if it isn't five star all the way these people will never be satisfied. You get what you pay for, and my fellow diners this place is great.

Yes service could be a little faster and a little more personal, but if that is what you want then go somewhere where you will definitely need your credit card just to pay for the waiter forget the food, not somewhere you can have a nice traditional Italian meal with some friends and be as loud as you like.

Overall my recommendation is that it is a good eat, but if for some reason you're not happy tell them, you will be surprised at what might come your way. Keep up the good work guys. P.S. make sure you try the Margherita Pizza if you are into hardcore Italian food.
