I was just going by with my friend today and we decided to have a pizza in 3 Dots. It was great and the service was really nice. And I looked at all those comments and I'm really shocked about them, because it didn't seem that bad to me. And for those people who think that it's not that hard to make a pizza well why don't you make it yourself then. Great work guys, keep going.
3 dots are as many points they will get from my rating (3/10). From all the pizza options available in Pyrmont, this has to be the weakest link. Overcooked, dry, coaster like base. Heartburn guaranteed from the salami and garlic. It’s not that hard to make a supreme. Will stick to made in Italy until major improvements are made all round.
Stumbled across this place accidentally and ended up having a bloody good meal and a beer with the owner at the end of the night. Can't think of too many places in Sydney where the owner puts so much time into making sure his customers have a great overall experience. Cheers Alex and I'll see you again soon.
After reading the great reviews on the website and seeing the all you can eat pizza and pasta for $20 deal - my flat mate and I thought we would give it a go. Well I'll tell you now it was simply awful and we will not be back or recommend this place to anyone. I am beginning to think that the owners themselves have written most of these reviews because our experience was nothing short of appalling.
It was a Wednesday night. There was one other table occupied a party of five and no one else. We were there for almost 2 hours by the time we left. We both ordered a pizza and pasta to take advantage of the deal. They were simply awful. We each ate one piece of pizza and it tasted revolting. Tastes like the products are certainly not fresh. My boscaiola wasn't too bad except the pasta was stuck together. My friend’s pasta was hideous he didn’t eat any of it.
The service was non existent. We walked in and no one greeted us so we went and sat outside and waited for someone to come to our table. No one did. I got up and went and got our menus. Then we waited and waited and no one came to take our order. So I got up and asked if we had to order inside. No no, I'll come out to the table. Oh well, how were we to know??
Don’t bother. Two hours wait for revolting pizza, horrible pasta and terrible service. The garlic pizza was not too bad though.
Went on a week night with friends to try out the all you can eat pizza and pasta for $20 deal. Was very impressed with the food and especially the willingness by staff to modify my choices to suit my vegetarian diet. The service was absolutely outstanding, and the food was fresh and hot. Wine and beer was well priced too. Looking forward to my next visit.
The pizzas had similar flavours (3-dot special, Paesanella and Supreme were not that distinctive from each other) and the pizza bases were doughy. However the toppings were generous and flavoursome, covering all the way to the edge of the pizza base.
For a party of 9 we had 6 large pizzas and 3 salads which satisfied everyone's appetite at less than $20 a head. Because we booked the table inside we had the whole indoor area to ourselves which felt like our own function room (a definite plus). It was a bit unfortunate that they are so popular - we had to wait a bit for our pizzas but the staff were polite and apologetic, and kept us up to date with the pizza progress. It was a very satisfying meal for everyone and a place we will definitely revisit.
I wanted a place to celebrate my birthday, that has value for money as well as a variety, byo, friendly staff and tasty food. I found 3 dots and booked it for 20 family and friends. It was such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere which made our night. I was a little worried as I have never been but I had absolutely nothing to worry about... We all enjoyed the mouth watering food and the service was outstanding. The feedback from family and friends was so positive that made me so happy. Thanks to 3 Dots for making my birthday a memorable one.
We live within a stones throw of Made in Italy, Pyrmont, which has nice pizza, but 3 Dots stepped up to a new level. Excellent innovative recipes. Very tasty, very fresh. Excellent value for money, and very attentive staff. Brilliant!
Great place, I highly recommend it! Staff were great, pizzas are made on the spot, thin crusted and tasty. I tried to go as many as I could for $20, but couldn't even do two the pizzas were so damn filling!
