We decided to try this restaurant out on a Friday evening, even though we weren’t partial to the main courses and went for the tapas menu instead. Since moving to Bondi we always enjoy trying the vast array of restaurants the area has to offer.

Unfortunately, this is one we definitely won’t be going back to. We were highly disappointed and left feeling a bit ‘ripped off’. The service was excellent and waitress very pleasant. However, even though we booked we were put near the door that leads into an underground club. So we were constantly distracted by this blast of loud hip hop and people bounding in and out of the club. The cocktails were good, but a bit steep at $17.50 each. Almost all of the 5 tapas plates were look warm, small servings and nothing to write home about.

The last dish being the grand finale of ‘beef wagu’ was about 4 shavings of beef for $14! We didn’t get any bread, just a few crackers to go with all the dishes. Needless to say we had gelato on the way home to save ourselves the disappointment of dessert!

I found the service and atmosphere to be more cafe style rather than a fine dining restaurant. Don't expect anything special from this place unless you are keen on being in the presence of pushy owners who are constantly coming up chatting with you while you are trying to eat or following staff around fixing everything they do (if you can't trust your staff to do what you ask just do it yourself don't follow them around it is so distracting).

The food was nice but nothing special that you can't already find in Bondi. Over all I won't be going back, simply because they can't seem to figure out what they want to be, fine dining or cafe. Loose the tacky server aprons stop following your staff and stop staring at guests when they are eating, like you are waiting to swoop in to take their dinner plate as soon as they put down their fork. In the end I believe they should stick with a cafe style restaurant loose the stuffy approach and it could actually be a nice/fun place to dine.

An excellent new choice for Bondi, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner (and I've enjoyed all three). Sam and Emilio are down to earth and friendly and seem to run a pretty tight ship. The food and wine list are great and both come reasonably priced.

Walked in on a Sunday for lunch, waited at the door to be seated and had a waiter with his back to us chatting and not notice us. Finally seated and it took at least another 10 minutes for menus to come out when they finally noticed us trying to catch their attention.

Coffee is good tasting, but they obviously don't have a great barista as the three lattes we ordered were pretty average. Food (consisting of 2 salads, bacon and eggs and a panini) took almost an hour to come out which was pretty disappointing considering all the other tables were finishing up and leaving while we ordered and were waiting.

Overall the service was incredibly disappointing and was definitely the reason we won't be visiting again. They had a fair number of staff on but they just weren't on the ball and everything was just happening way too slowly.

The food was good. The salads were delicious, but I'm not a fan of any place that doesn't give you at least one eye piece of bacon with a serving of bacon and eggs. The serving sizes are also quite small.
