Overview
With a relaxed and casual feel during the day, and a warm ambience in the evening, Restaurant 3one7 is a much needed dining experience for the Parramatta area.
Restaurant 3one7 has a minimalist, open plan atmosphere, characterised by striking colours, modern decor, ambient lighting, attractive forms and styles, and an alfresco courtyard.
This funky new venue offers patrons a Mediterranean inspired and modern Australian dining experience at suburban prices. Choose from a selection of fresh local seafood, juicy steaks, chicken and veal dishes and pasta. Leaving room for 3one7's continental style cakes and gourmet coffees is a must. Restaurant 3one7 is in a great location in the heart of Parramatta's 'Eat Street'.
We dined here last weekend, we ended up in their private room, we felt so welcomed and really at home, the service is great, very friendly, the meals are huge and quite tasty. We were very impressed. Keep up the good work.
Had heard good reports about 3one7 but I have to say I was very disappointed. My pasta was quite bland and my partners chicken dish was nothing to rave about either. The only positive was the very attentive waitress who was continually topping our drinks. Will not be returning any time soon. Sorry.
Decided to try the place after reading the good reviews. Went there with a friend for lunch, I had made a reservation (just in case) but it turned out it wasn't necessary. However, it was on a Monday so it might be different on the weekend.
The waitresses were very friendly and efficient. We ordered marinara pasta and a chicken burger. The latter comes with fries and a garden salad but we got only the fries. When we ordered, the waitress asked us if we wanted to share the meals and brought 2 extra plates. I really appreciated the thought.
The meals came out after only 10 minutes, however, the place wasn’t really busy so we might have been lucky. The pasta was very nice but the chicken on the other hand was burned and the whole dish was a big disappointment in general.
I would highly recommend the specials, they are great value for money, most dishes cost an average of $15 and include a drink! and the pasta comes with garlic bread. The portions are big so take a friend with you if you're a small eater. The atmosphere is ok but could be much warmer.
Had lunch in a wedding party here, it was on a Monday afternoon, so the restaurant was quiet, have not been when they're busy.
The food is wonderful! However, stay away from the veal, stick to chicken (we had chicken boscaiola, it was melt-in-the-mouth moment). Huge servings. Their roast potatoes, perfection. Service was attentive, but again, we went on a quiet Monday afternoon. Will go back again, definitely.
It has been a long time since I have been so impressed with customer service . The service was fantastic! we had a concert to go to so the meals were super fast and all the staff were happy and asked if we needed anything. Very impressed!!!
We went as a group and got seated in a little room at the back, awesome for us!! Great food, huge servings, good value, awesome staff, very helpful and the LCD on the wall enabling us to watch the footy topped off the night, definitely be back again.
Saturday lunch and was strolling down Church Street looking for a cafe. The sign in the window "Parramatta's best" won me over and I ordered the seafood risotto. It arrived promptly and was the most orange looking dish I'd ever seen (outside of a tandoori dish). I was immediately suspicious that the "fresh cooked sauces" had come out of a jar and one taste told me I was right. The seafood was generous and well cooked but the risotto was dreadful. With each bite the orange oil filled up the space on the plate. It was $22.50 - I had to send it back. They were very apologetic and didn't charge me (nor should they).
I then ordered an entree size salt and pepper squid on rocket. The crumb mixture on this is awful although the squid was tender. At $16.50 I expected it to be better. Thanks heavens they didn't stuff up the glass of Yalumba Sangiovese Rose. All they needed to do was pour it (very nice). Service was gracious and efficient but the food was not good particularly for the price. I suspect there may be better food awaiting amongst the other cafes along Church Street. Definitely not Parramatta's best cafe!
Really great food, huge servings and the staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. The only thing that they need to work on is the communication between the staff as they all rush in to make your experience pleasant and give you fast service, they sometimes get their timing wrong, little things like the second serving of bread that was meant to come out with the mezza plate, may come out at the end of your main but they are sweet about it. Only other thing is that seem to charge extra for bread? Something I found a bit weird but all in all a really good experience.
