After reading many positive reviews I was excitied to give it a try, I went with the taverna meat (banquet), the dips were great, the haloumi was really salty almost unedible, the meat platter wasn't that great it was a bit over cooked. Just a bit of a let down, I would go back and try the seafood next time because the mains we had were average to me. Tee vibe of the place was great it was packed my call would be try the seafood.

We had a group booking for 27 people on a Saturday night for a 30th and order the meat based set menu.

From the start, the staff were very friendly and provided great service throughout the night. Half the group were about 40 minutes late, and not one time did the staff try to rush us. The food was enjoyable and we'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

For Greek food, it is. Here or nowhere. We had the $30 set menu. Simply fabulous.

We showed up without a reservation on a Friday night and we were lucky to get a table because it soon filled up. The restaurant was very clean, food was reasonably priced, the quail was great. The best thing about the place was the service, our waitress was so friendly and gave menu advice which was spot on. I also appreciated the often neglected additional touches such as a bucket of ice for our BYO wine and turkish delight with the bill.

My husband, two children and I had an early dinner on a Friday night. We were impressed by the friendly and honest staff. When we were ordering the waiter suggested we only get one meal for our children as the meals are quite large and could be easily shared. We took his advice and this saved us nearly $20 as our children could barely finish the one meal we ordered for them.

My husband and I both ordered the banquet and the Wolf Blass red label it was fantastic. We couldn't finish our main meals because the portions were so generous, but we managed to share two desserts between the four of us baklava and custard in pastry with greek kaffe and hot chocolate. Yummo!

Since Perrama moved to the CBD there has been a void for me in the Greek Restaurant department in the area. No longer, the King of Greek in the Inner West is 3 Olives! Family run, great service and the banquet was first class. I don't think one of the 8 or so dishes was a miss, even the chips (chips may sound low rent but not the way they cooked them). Try and get an outside table and watch the world go by.

The food is a bit oily but that's Greek food for you, nothing compared to the Corinthian. We had 2 Banquets, Bottle of Oyster Bay and 2 Ouzos for $100 and we couldn't finish our food (I'm a very big eater). The service was top of the range, Mother and Daughter working the floor making you feel like friends rather than customers. Well done!

Ambience only gets a lowish score because it was so crowded, but dear lord, it was amazing. The food was great, they offered us some free ouzo because it was so cramped, everyone was nice... Ace all round, have been, and will continue to recommend this place to everyone that was a good decent home cooked greek meal!

Lovely birthday dinner with 5 friends at 3 Olives last night, couldn't have asked for a nicer waiter, really yummy food and a great atmosphere. Dolmades and the lamb were especially delicious.

I came here with the girls for a Friday night catchup and we were all thrilled by the great food and service and value this great little family run restaurant provides. We decided on the Meat banquet starting with some lovely authentic home made dips and greek salad and pita bread that had been warmed and simply melted in your mouth. The bbq haloumi was to die for then the grills came out which were all heavily marinated in lemon and oregano, juicy and tender.

There was so much food we ended taking home a doggy bag and ordering more dips to go home with us. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive and we will definitely be back soon.

I came here a couple of weeks ago with three friends and we all shared two seafood platters. These come with a variety of dips as starter. The lady who served us apologised for the lack of mussels in the platter when it arrived but we were not bothered as all the other seafood was fresh and tasty and plentiful. A doggy-bag was requested and given. The service was very friendly, efficient and timely. No hesitation in coming back or recommending to friends.
