Overview
2 Sista's Cafe is very popular amongst the locals. Open for breakfast and lunch 7 days between 8am to 3:30pm, the younger sista is the head chef whilst the older sista runs the business side. The cafe specialises in Mediterrean flavours and offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Most foods are made from scratch. Don't miss the ricotta pancakes, salmon benedict, housemade meusli. Lunches include gourmet sandwiches, mouth watering salads, pastas, rice dishes and much more.
Try the exceptional coffee or loose leaf tea.
2 Sista's Cafe also specialises in functions and catering
I went here for breakfast and waited over an hour for our drinks alone. Our "smoothies" were warm and watery. No apologies made at all. The females running the place are cold. Have not and will not return, which is a shame as I live on the same street as the cafe.
I'm a local who frequented this cafe when it was Webbo's. The menus haven't really changed but the quality of the food has really gone down hill. I have a usual of the big breakfast, while it came out fast some of the food was cold. With two eggs, three rashes of bacon, two sausages and mushrooms (which where cold) I only got one slice of toast. The bottom of the plate also had a large quantity of liquid in it that turned that single slice of bread soggy and rapidly turned the bacon cold too. It was quite a revolting meal and was mostly left on the plate.
My partner had the corn fritters, one of our favorites with the previous owners. But they are just piles of corn now. They fall apart and lack much of the volume the previous incarnation had that made them worth going back for. The service was good, mind you there were not many people in there. And one waitress was really cute so they get points there.
It's disappointing to see such a great place (which looks great) go so bad so quick. I'm looking for a new local to frequent now.
Went to 2 Sista's Cafe on the weekend, it was packed. To me a great sign, with a very socialising, relaxing atmosphere. We all tried something different, I on the other hand had the ricotta pancake which comes with caramalised apples in a calvados sauce. The only reason I knew cause I asked one of the sister's who is the head chef to explain her ingredients.
My friends had an stir fry which looked delicious, and the other had a mediterranean breakfast. Nothing to complain about all at, especially the price. These sisters know what they're doing, I give it a thumbs up. Great renovations, atmosphere, food and service. Excellent for Stanmore!
Went to 2 Sistas with my mates on weekend. Waitresses were very friendly, place was packed and few people could not even get seats. I had the pancakes, they bake them from scratch and they said would take 20 minutes but they were definitely worth the wait. My friend had chicken caesar and he said it was delicious. My other mate had pasta with prawns and his serve was huge, and he enjoyed every last bit.
The 2sistas cafe was a laid back environment and made me and my girls feel very comfortable, with the friendly staff and loving waitresses it felt like they were'nt waitresses but they were friends of ours. Not to mention the beautiful, tasteful and of course the delicious food that we were kindly served with was more than what we had expected.
After we had eaten our tasty lunch me and the girls thought we'd chill out and have some dessert and catch up on old times. The service and food were absolutely something we hadn't expected but we were very pleased with it. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and will be having further visits and lunches there.
It ain't no Webba cafe! Although the menu is still the same, it doesn't even come close to its predecessor. The service was appalling!!! I don't mind waiting for food, but you bring the drinks to the table straight away guys! We ordered coffee and watched as takeaway orders taken after we arrived took preference over ours! 25 minutes for a coffee in an unbusy cafe? I don't think so. Staff were tepid and unapologetic.
We waited 35 minutes for the 'summer salad' (I've had better out of the deli at Woolies) and the 'chicken risotto' which tasted like the chef had done a bulk buy of Rice-a-Riso. Very very very ordinary food. Bottled water came to the table as an after thought halfway through our meal. The place 'looks' great with the refurb but there is nooooo way that we will be going back.
I decided to try this cafe with a group of friends after trawling the area for some decent pancakes. When we arrived, the cafe seemed a little busy but no excuse for the slow and unfriendly service. The waitresses looked like they would rather be anywhere else, so it wasn't the warm and friendly service you would expect in the inner west!
We ordered the pancakes which took at least half an hour to get to us, by that time, we had been sitting for over an hour! When the pancakes arrived they were well below expectation, presentation was ok but the pancakes themselves didn't appear to be cooked very well and were drowned in sauce to cover for the blandness! Overall, a very disappointing experience and will definitely head for Pancakes on the Rocks for our next fix! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Went for brunch with my boyfriend and mum. A very disappointing experience. Service was slow. It took at least 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. Lime and mint cooler drinks were pleasant but beyond that.... errr no.
We ordered a mediterranian breakfast, corn fritters and ricotta pancakes. The haloumi in the mediterranian breakfast was overcooked and the overall portion size was disappointing, the corn fritters were shocking - slimy and undercooked in the middle and quite unlike any corn fritters I have ever had in terms of flavour. This meal was also poorly presented. The sauce and topping on the pancakes was tasty however they were not cooked through.
I will not be returning to 2Sistas despite the fact it is about 30 seconds walk from my home. Cute looking cafe but very disappointing otherwise.
Very good food and nice place to just hang out for a while. Had a very nice 2 hour public holiday breakfast with friends. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, yummy Mediterranean brekky.
