This has been the first time I've visited this restaurant and coincidentally, also the last. I visited the restaurant while at its full restaurant capacity.

Admittedly, we did delay in order whilst trying to await our complete group to arrive. After 45 minutes or so, we began to enquire about our food. We were promised that we will be the next table to be served.

After approximately one hour of waiting for food and seeing other tables served several more mains, we decided to ask the waitress if we could kindly cancel our order if they don't arrive within the next 10 minutes. The waitress proceeded to excuse herself due to the restaurant being very busy and 'full'. As I began to get up, they registered our growing impatience and decided to plant our first main course on our table, so that we won't be able to leave. I regard this action to be a very cheap and cunning tactic.

Slowly and steadily, after more rushing and asking the waitress if we had to wait significantly longer than the first main to arrive before getting the rest, our table began filling up with food. I was the last to be served, by which time, even my table was halfway through their main courses. When I pointed this out, her response was simply 'yep'. No responsibility, no apologies. Just simply, 'yep'.

I was eventually served my meal at 8:15pm. We ordered at 6:35pm, and most of our food came at 7:40pm.

I must admit, although the food isn't exactly the quality I paid for, it was still the only half-decent attribute of this restaurant that I could kindly think of to give them some credit.

We were offered no compensation whatsoever to the lack of service and restaurant management, and as a guest independently observed, the waitresses were actually showing annoyance at us for complaining (4 times in the span of 90 minutes).

We were finally able to leave the restaurant shortly after 9:00pm. We did not even stay behind to ask for our coffee because one of the guests had an early flight to catch the next morning.

I sincerely hope that this review helps those who wish to choose a suitable restaurant to dine in Epping. One side note is that the restaurant really was full and it was Mothers' Day. However, I felt that the situation would have been helped with better trained staff and more refined management skills.

Okay priced lunch but the food was from which culture? It was a varied mish mash of everything. The decor is fake and nasty and the service needs to be improved. The lady who took the order with no other customers in the place was unaware and not able to explain the menu items.

I am so glad this restaurant has opened just around the corner from where I live. It's some of the best Chinese food I've eaten. I've advised my family next time they visit we will be heading there for dinner. I've only tried the Asian dishes but based in the other reviews here, I'll be trying the western cuisine next time. The fried rice is delicious, Mongolian dishes are delicious. This is a great family run restaurant with food cooked by a chef who clearly knows his stuff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant so many times with my friends and family, and every time I'm here I pleasantly enjoy my night. The food is good and is freshly cooked, we ordered the salt and pepper calamari and it was really fabulous, the texture and the flavour was divine.

We also had the sizzling spicy shredded veal and the 168 signature fried rice, omg, it was chilli but was the flavour was magnificent. To top it off we ordered the yum yum ice cream and affagato, Yummy! this restaurant has a big variety of dishes from chinese to australian. This is one of the reason why we love going to this restaurant.

I highly recommend this restaurant if your family is wanting to try different things all in one night. Have a bit of chinese and have a some australian some has chicken in PJ's. The prices are quite reasonable too. Very good restaurant to dine at.

Went to have dinner with my friend last night. Ordered some stir fried noodles. Was a bit confused with the menu as some of the items got crispy and soft noodles. Asked the waitress what's the difference between two. She advised that crispy noodles is deep fried and soft noodles is stir fried. So we said we would like to have the stir fried noodles and she advised that we need to pay $1 more. We were just wondering why as it didn't mention in the menu.

Anyway, when the noodles came, they had a generous portion of meat and vegetables on top but underneath there were only two spoonful of noodles. Imagine how salty it was with so little noodles and so much sauce. We then ordered a salt and pepper squids as we were still hungry. Although the squids were freshly made but they were so tough!

Overall, the service was good. If the chef can put less chicken stock to the food and balance the portion of the dishes, it is a restaurant with good potential. Sunny Lai, you can do better!

After driving past this place many times during work hours, I decided to take my girlfriend tonight.

The welcome at the front door was the start of a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was perfect and very comfortable. The service was great and the staff was very helpful and professional with a smile on their face.

The food was spot on and I must say one of the best meal I've had in a long time. The duck breast was delicious and the apple crumble was one of the best I've ever had! The prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than a lot of other places. I highly recommend this place.

The food is really nice, the service is awesome and the owners and staff are so friendly! If you like chilli, try the chicken in chilli sauce with crispy noodles - delicious. Their signature fried rice is yummy and their spring rolls are full of meat not just vegetables, which is just the way I like them! The place is super clean and the restaurant is filled with beautiful paintings. My family and I couldn't fault this place, we'll definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant. I've been there about 4 times over the past 2 weeks and love the lunch specials. Friendly service and atmosphere, great food, great value. Angus beef burger for lunch is highly recommended.

Since this restaurant opened I have been about 5 times with different groups because the food is just that good! It appears to be run by a Chinese family that mix both Western and Chinese cuisine to make some great dishes that my friends and family love.

They're all extremely polite and the chef came out to say hello and to personally thank us for trying out this new restaurant. The portions are big so go with your friends or family. I highly recommend the HK style crispy chicken and the lamb pancake. Will definitely be going back again soon.
