The restaurant is quite nice but is set next to a main road. The service was quite good.

The entrees were the highlight for all of us - tuna sashimi, roasted beetroot and goat's cheese plus the special which included spanner crab (I wasn't expecting a lot of flavour from spanner crabs but this was excellent) with a lemon dressing. Excellent. The mains were a little disappointing. My wagyu steak was very large and cooked as requested but a little tough and really lacked somewhere (can't exactly put my finger on it).

Overall it was a good experience but reasonably expensive.

I have eaten at River House at least half a dozen times over the last few years. It has never disappointed. Food local and spectacular, great value and great service. Have taken large groups and gone as a couple and been super impressed every time. It's my favourite restaurant in Australia.

We visited on a busy midweek night and all 5 of us loved it. I am not sure where disatisfied ate but it couln't have been here. The wagyu steak I had was very flavoursome and tender. In Sydney I would be paying $10 more for this. I will be back. The food is very fresh. The staff are happy and professional.

We visited this restaurant and were extremely disappointed with the service. The food was mediocre, staff were rude and unhelpful. Definitely would not recommend to anyone visiting Noosaville!

Mediocre food albeit delicately presented. Quite disappointed given the media hype. Lovely dining room setting though.
