Hi, I just wanted to again express my disappointment of my experience with your restaurant. All the reviews I had read, led me to believe that what occurred 30th Sept..should not have happened.
My wife, and my 12 year old child arrived approx 6pm.. without a booking, which didn't seem to be a problem as we were placed at a table just outside in the mall walkway, almost opposite the entrance to the main part of the restaurant. We were served drinks, and offered a menu. A few minutes later, so probably no later than 615 pm we ordered. 1 Gluten Free Pasta meal for my son, a GF pizza for myself and a plain pizza for my wife.
30 minutes later, nothing had appeared, other diners who arrived after us appeared to be receiving food. 15 minutes later, the waitress arrived and explain it will only be 3 minutes, the pizza's were ready but not the pasta, (this was a Pasta, Spaghetti, no sauce, just a bit of oil and parmesan?).
At 715 pm, I went in to where the cashier was, and no one was able to give me an explanation as to why our meals had not arrived. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait any further for any more explanations. I offered to pay my bill but was given the wrong bill. I had to then advise, what drinks we ordered etc.. and paid for them and left.
We had travelled from Sydney that day, and were very much looking forward to eating what was advertised as a GF menu. My son was distraught, as he hadn't eaten since lunchtime. I still don't undertstand what the issue was, maybe I should have offered to go around to coles supermarket and get some San Remo GF pasta for the chef to boil.
I have no way of recommending this restaurant to any one far from it. I can't even rate the food, or the value. I just hope for this place's sake, that it was a one off..
