I've been a big fan of Augello's for awhile, so I took some mates from the UK there and we were squished into the middle of the upstairs bit. We were silly not to order pizza, as they do it so well, but all our chef specials were good, but probably not worth the pricing as they aren't a fine restaurant, more a great innovative pizza joint.
I do really wish they had a bigger place, it's hard to hear others talk when busy. And the staff make no secret of wanting to pack up and go home before 10pm, so much so we'd been offered dessert as the last fork of our main hit our mouths.
Please go, but stick to their pizza.

I have been to this place many times as we often travel to the Sunshine Coast. On our last visit (January 2008) we were most disappointed. Whilst the service is still very good the food is not as good as it used to be. We ordered the same food we normally order but it did not taste the same. In particular the desserts were no where near as nice.

Excellent!! We had great pizza and brought our own wine that went perfectly with the meal! We had a great time, but as the reviewer below said, book ahead! We booked 2 days in advance and got a centre table elbow-to-elbow with the next table. So I'd seriously book as far in advance as possible on weekends! Noisy and bustling - but definitely recommended.

Excellent pizzas. You will need to book a table as this place is extremely busy - at least a few days ahead (I have always booked and never once had a decent table so be warned). It can get quite noisy when it's crowded, not really a venue for a romantic dinner - more for family or groups.
