Milagro is a modern Australian restaurant on Thomas St., tucked in a little off the street. In this case, modern Australian being a blend of Native Australian and Latin flavours with French techniques. The result is a sophisticated dining experience with all the right props—French stem ware, Latin American décor and salsa playing in the background. The restaurant is open for private functions and catering for parties and weddings.
Milagro (Spanish for ‘miracle’) was named Best New Restaurant Sunshine Coast 2010 at Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence.

In a street where mediocrity seems to be the name of the game, Milagro stands well above the crowd. Excellent, interesting range of choices populate what is a fairly short menu. Service was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, vibrant and made you remember what eating out should be like. The wait between courses was probably a little too long, but other than that this is definitely a 'must visit' if you're in the area.

What a find! My wife and I went to Milagro on the 8th of Nov. 2011, and we thoroughly loved it. The restaurant may not look like much (e.g. BYO only, simple (but nice) decoration), but the chef is a gem.
We had the degustation menu, and there was not one single dish out of the 6 we got where we thought 'this was ok, but could have been better': in the contrary, every morsel was sheer delight.
Noosa is an amazing place for food, and you can't get disappointed there for find dining, but Milagro won our heart: all the dishes were innovative, with fusion of modern Australian, South American and Japanese influences. While this may sound like a strange mix, the result was simply stunning, every ingredient of the best quality and very fresh, cooked to perfection, and combined for pure pleasure.
The chef Jose Rivera is humble and friendly, and his staff did everything to give us an enjoyable night. The only minor thing was that there was maybe a bit too much food for a tasting menu, but it was so irresistible we could not leave any of it. We'll be back.

Excellent modern Australian BYO with young French-trained chef who applies a Latino touch to his art. Winner of "Best Modern Australian restaurant on the Sunshine Coast 2010". Went with friends and all of us agreed that the food and the experience was excellent.
