Ordered the lamb burger. The whole burger was falling apart and pattie looked like it had been dropped on the ground. On complaining, the server told me that was how it came and when I refused to eat it they tried to charge me anyway! I would not serve food like that in my own home and I certainly wouldn't willfully pay for it or the horrible service that came with it. Will not be back... Ever.

Awesome food, lovely staff and a welcoming environment that I will most certainly walk back into. I like a bit of spice with my Mexican so their various range of chilli sauces from the 'wall of pain' did the trick perfectly! Can't wait to go back and try their all you can eat Sunday lunch, fajitas and a frozen margarita, yummy!

Dismal! I guess the only reason this restaurant is still full is due to unsuspecting holidayers. I don't mind paying for good food but hate getting ripped off $30 plus for a slapped together pasta dish that resembles and tastes like a microwave meal is unacceptable.

Still trying to settle my stomach after I was served my oil pasta soup! A shout out to any half decent Italian restauranteurs reading this review, open up next door to them you will do a roaring trade.

Wow, I must just say the most Flavourless food I have ever eaten. No mexican or flavour at all! Great service, just a great pity about the food.

Top place for lunch, liked it that much went back for dinner. Rump steak for dinner was tops and the staff were so helpful. A True Steak House.

Just ate there and food and service were woeful. Why coleslaw with everything? Have not been there for quite some time and it has gone downhill why renovate and then serve food that bad we were not the only people disappointed.

Pizza was give a big wrap by a friend. Such an average pizza though. Salami and Pepperoni was the cheap shredded type and the capsicum should be red not green on a pizza, just didn't taste right. Wrong proportion of flavors made the Capriosca pizza taste bland. Has potential, maybe just this pizza was average, but much better pizzas elsewhere on the coast based on this one pizza.

Beautiful pub and surroundings but by the time we waited in line for an hour in the sun for the food we were pretty over it. Particularly when there was a group (must have known the owners) that arrogantly arrived and walked straight in front of everyone and got served immediately. I am sure there is a better way to serve the food so their customers do not have to go through such a trial.

Mulu Char is now our regular dining spot, we have been there for lunch three times which was excellent value and so delicious, and just last week for dinner which again was soon tasty. My husband likes his steak rare and Mulu Char is only one of two places on the coast that has got a perfect rare to us. The actual steak is so flavoursome. I am going again tomorrow for the two course lunch special.

Ps. staff are always polite and friendly...

pps the bread that comes with the lunch time soup is so yummy.

We bought takeaway and were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food was very good and tasted clean and fresh. They must have a good chef working there.

I really want to stand outside this place warning people not to go in. I feel so sorry for the staff - all badly trained and all obviously know they work for a dud. All too scared to ask if we enjoyed dinner as they know we would have said no.

Worst food ever - bland and tasteless. Don't have a wine list or even a drinks list, don't think they have desserts or coffee, at least we weren't offered any. The menu said they had gluten free pasta but they don't. People were all complaining and the lady in front of me was overcharged for drinks. Never ever go there - it's awful in every way.

Service was bad. I thought they had lost our order! Having spent time in Thailand & eaten at the excellent Chang Mai on the Gold Coast recently we found the food very disappointing. Westernised with little authenticity. Loved the atmosphere & decor but everything else needs improving.

What a shame! As regular visitors to the area, we had previously found this restaurant to be great authentic Italian food.

On our return the other night, we found the food horrible. Kids couldn't eat their spaghetti napolitana (a bowl of peppery sauce with a few strands of pasta) or bolognaise (hideous sauce with the most awful pasta ever). How can you get these 2 dishes wrong?

The same reason that I would not go to an Asian restaurant run by Italians, is the reason I would not return to an Italian restaurant run by Asians. No authenticity and a lack of understanding of the cuisine. Keep your money in your wallet.

Came here for a late dinner after being turned away by another place as their kitchen was closed. I think it was lucky this happened - this place is fantastic! The staff were very attentive and quick with food and drinks despite having quite a few people in the place. We had the supreme pizza and it was awesome - definitely not tight on the toppings! The cocktails are great too - I recommend the Forget About It! Excellent! I agree with a fellow reviewer - it was a welcome change to the more upmarket places along Hastings street.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a photograph you will always treasure, taken at a location of your choice on the Sunshine Coast (or possibly further afield), we urge you to contact the delightful Anna Gilbert.

Let me digress,

As photo-shoot ‘virgins’ it was with trepidation I informed the ‘Sexy Senior Cit’ of an appointment I’d made with a professional photographer. To say he was hesitant would be an understatement.

Yet I had visions of beautiful weather, an idyllic outdoor location and serious airbrushing culminating in a visual image one would actually want to display rather than dump.

Imagine my shock when I forgot said appointment, and failed to check my phone for days, discovered late one night it was scheduled the next afternoon! Plans to prepare not only our hair/faces/wardrobe were now in complete disarray. The 'SSC' was horrified.

Thank goodness then our Photographer was Anna Gilbert!

Faced with this dishevelled duo, her smile brightened an otherwise overcast day. (Luckily I had previously scouted out some potential locations - sand dunes, jetties, and dinghies – all designed to hide my Rubenesque curves).

Anna quickly put us both at ease, suggesting poses etc. and keeping things snappy (excuse the pun!) so we were more focussed on what we were doing rather than worrying about how we looked.

Throughout our session, her energy and infectious sense of humour never flagged and we managed shots at a variety of locations close together alongside the beautiful Pumicestone Passage.

Her professional equipment, direction and the fact that we not only looked like we were having fun but obviously were - attracted onlookers at each place (bet they scanned local media for days looking for our picture – ha! ha!)

We arranged to meet later at her studio at Marcoola for a viewing of selected shots and were thrilled to see the results. Anna’s artistic flair for composition, lighting and content were apparent. And no, we didn’t need serious airbrushing either! It was so hard to decide which one/s we liked the most. Even better, our images are archived so we can always order additional memories.

We first heard about 'My Body Talks To Me' late last year, and in dire need of a 'tune-up', I made a booking for both of us.

Lee has a studio in Buderim, but is more than happy to arrange a visit to your home at a mutually convenient time. As one of us is elderly, not particularly well, nor used to massage or alternative therapies, this made facilitation of treatment much, much easier. I also appreciated I didn't have to organise us both out to another venue, and, therefore, we could really relax in familiar surroundings following her visit.

Lee has a very professional portable set-up, and quickly put us both at ease. Different treatments were chosen for each of us based upon meeting. Lee conveyed everything very clearly during the sessions and her insight was apparent.

We both cannot recommend 'My Body Talks To Me' strongly enough. Lee offers very unique services to all her clients. She is an incredibly gifted therapist. As you know I never rate any review a perfect '10' but the other half of the equation was so insistent in this case I met halfway.

I have had more than one session with Lee, each and every time has been beneficial to both my physical and mental health. Thank you Lee!
