Breakfast, lunch or dinner, there is a suitable time for a nice beachfront dining experience at Bistro C. Dayle Merlo, the chef is passionate about creating food from the freshest local produce. You don't need a special occasion to enjoy a sunset cocktail or a moonlit dinner. Any day is a good day for a bite or a drink at Bistro C.

Have been here both or breakfast and dinner. What a great place to eat. Food is simple but tasty and the setting right on the beach is a delight. Restaurant can be loud on a busy Friday night but otherwise love this place. Will definitely be back again.

I cannot express how disappointed I was with Bistro C. I have read the reviews and having visited last year I was expecting the same wonderful experience, how wrong can one person be?
The seafood pasta I have been dreaming about was beyond awful and the wait to get this so called meal was even worse. Maybe they were having a bad day but we certainly won't be going again this trip, just a shame we had to experience it at all in the first place. Shame, shame, shame.

Bistro C is the place to go on Hastings St. We dined there three times in the last week (two dinners and a breakfast) and the place has an energy and a vibe that sets it apart. The cocktails are excellent and the food, while not outstanding, is consistent with the occasional standout (spaghetti with fresh seafood yum).
Service was Ok but it's usually so busy you tend to get served by 3 or 4 people during the night, which can be off putting. If you want a great table right on the beach then it pays to book ahead, but the atmosphere is great anywhere. I always left with a smile on my face.

One of the best restaurants on the Hasting Street strip. They squeezed us in on a busy night. All the food we ordered was fantastic - and the chocolate dessert was to die for. The only negative, is that there was a table of people who were getting very drunk and loud and they continued to serve them cocktails in the restaurant area when we were trying to eat.

We were very impressed with Bistro C. We started with cocktails (Noosa Daiquiri and French Martini) and they were very good, among the best we had in Noosa (go to the Sheraton for the very best).
For starter we shared the oysters. As an ‘oyster enthusiast’ I have to say they were among the finest oysters I’ve had. So fresh and quite large. Although, the oysters are served with this spicy sorbet which I did not like at all.
For main I had the pork belly served with scallops and leek. Very impressed, absolutely delicious in fact, with some delightful Asian inspired flavours. For dessert I had the crème brulée which was served with rhubarb. Sure it was nice, but it’s pretty rare to get a bad brulée and I didn’t touch the rhubarb. Service was prompt and friendly, as it is in most Noosa restaurants.
I loved the ambience of Bistro C, it has a Japanese feel with beautiful decorations. Although the food is definitely modern Australian with subtle Asian influences.
Make sure to book well in advance as Bistro C was absolutely packed on a Friday night with many people being turned away (and this was in the off season).

We didn't have a reservation on a busy saturday night but they squeezed us in which we were grateful for. Fabulous food, great friendly service and a perfect location. The oysters with lime and fire ice were to die for.

So disappointed with Bistro C. Great setting, looks great but just doesn't deliver.
The service was virtually non existent. Granted its a busy place but took almost half an hour for a first drinks to arrive. Food was not much better. Ordered eye fillet medium rare. It was 'Blue'. When I complained the sernior staff, who seemed out of her depth, tried to tell me it was MRare. Stayed in Noosa for 2 weeks and never went back to Bistro C.

Just spent our annual two week holiday again in Noosa (have done so for the past 21 years) and Bistro C is by far the very best restaurant in Noosa. Outstanding food, ambience, service and atmosphere. Seriously could not fault it! Lunch at a table overlooking the boardwalk and the beach is a sublime experience, the daily Northern Territory barramundi specials are always to die for! Do not miss the Bistro C experience!

We came to Bistro C with high expectations. Well, I hate to say standards have dropped, spectacularly. To begin with, we were seated beside a table with an obnoxious "lady" busy letting fly expletives in a keening screech that quickly destroyed any semblance of an enjoyable evening.
Even after begging a distant table to escape audial violation I noticed our "lady" cuddling the manager. Obviously privileged friends get the run of Bistro C. When our food arrived it was abominable, a dry and overcooked barramundi fillet, promptly sent back and King Prawns from the bait shop's icebox that had escaped the food inspectors.
A dire night crowned by an overpriced bill. Pretentious and substandard dining at it's worst.
