If you like waiting an hour and a half for your meal when you are the only two people in the restaurant then eat here. Waitress was shocking and we actually had to ask for a drink/menus. It was a quiet night obviously but I felt like throwing up when the waitress would run out the front door for a cigarette every 10 minutes and come back in stinking like an ashtray, although the meals were generous and actually quite good I felt violated when paying for the bill. We wished we left whilst we were sitting there for an hour waiting for entrees. You get better service at your local pub than here.

Disaster from the moment we walked in. As a chef I expect a high standard of food and service for 35-40 dollars a plate. Neither expectations were met. Too many things wrong to list but here's a few.
Soggy garlic bread drowned in butter and a bruschetta that looked like it had been diced by a pre schooler. Meat that tasted as though it had been re heated, especially the lobster and I have feeling the hollandaise came from a jar. The Diane sauce tasted so strongly of not cooked of wine that it actually burnt my throat.
The senior staff/waiter was just plain creepy and inexperienced! Playing of food and general kitchen procedure was just unorganized. And here was the worst of the worst, even though there were only 2 other diners the only desserts not sold out were a sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and chocolate cake.
While they were being microwaved, my wife and I were able to see the waiter/ senior staff/now 'kitchen staff' lick his fingers! As he handled our dessert straight after! Upon arrival it turned out my sticky date was a banana bread muffin smothered in khaluha and a piece of what appeared to be Sarah lee cake drenched in baileys. When asked about the alcohol the man responded "it just makes it taste nicer thats all...." Worst Ever!
All we could do was laugh as we paid our 120 dollar bill, without drinks, and make the most of our anniversary as we both decided to spread the horrible name Olive.

Absolutely do not eat here. The food is terrible (was not like described on the menu. Was told to contact their meat supplier to ask why the meat was spicey?! Also was not served with the sides as described).
Wine was terrible, tastes musky and then was told it tasted fine and then the owner asked a fellow customer to try it to see if it tasted fine?! Meals all came out at different times even after pre ordering due to a large (14 people) group. We were pretty much the only people there.
The service was beyond rude and unprofessional. A meal was served incorrectly and we were then snapped at saying that was the way we ordered it even though it was a simple solution to fix it. These were only a couple of problems we had. Save your time and money and go anywhere else, plenty of other places to choose from.

Best meal I have had in a very long time. Returning tomorrow for dinner again!
Staff were lovely and made us feel welcomed. First time customers but felt like we were part of the family. Highly recommend this restaurant for the perfect dining experience. Out of all the restaurants in Ettalong it is the only one produces awesome food.

This is my favourite Restaurant. The staff are fantastic. Top that with food cooked to perfection and it will be your favourite too. I love that they serve a different menu than I find at any other Restaurant. When I see other people's order arrive I want to try everything. They are so creative with their menu. It makes me try everything and I haven't found one thing that I have disliked. It is well worth a visit.

What a farce! The Fish of the Day was sold out at 7 pm. No desserts - they were all Frozen! And no time to de-frost apparently. The coffee machine was broken.
When steak that was requested to be well-done was sent back to the kitchen due to it being medium, the chef told us it was 'dis-colouration' from the piece of bacon wrapped around it! Then both 'chefs' proceeded to argue with us and amongst themselves in the kitchen (and refused to cook the steak for a little while longer).
Seemed that the poor girl who served us had only been there for a very short time and did not get along with the 'chef's'. Will Never return again and have made sure to tell everyone we know on the Central Cast about it. This place has gotten a really bad name in the area in the last 2 years. Such a shame, when it was Mood Food it was great!

We had a table for seven people booked on a friday night, were told no desserts available as they weren't thawed (pavlova and creme caramel on the menu, were they frozen?!), no coffee as the expresso machine broken, no fish of the day as it had run out - at 7.30 pm with an almost empty restaurant. Entree's served before the garlic bread was brought out. A steak was ordered well done, came out red and the chef refused to cook it any longer, in fact two different chefs came to the table to argue the point. Very rude. Will never return.

A pleasant dining experience, however, our entree was served raw and them blamed that it was supposed to be pre-cooked!
The food over all was ok, not quite cooked how we asked for (lamb cooked medium/well instead of medium/rare and one of the mains came out 10 minutes after the rest. The other meals were great. The waitress was lovely and we were really disappointed when it appeared the senior staff/kitchen staff blamed her for our disappointment in the meal.
When we complained the senior staff/kitchen staff was quite defensive we just wanted to voice our disappointment. Probably wouldn't go back

On the night we had dinner here we decided to only have a main meal. The restaurant had only four couples including us, so we were extremely disappointed and annoyed that we did not receive our meals for 1.5 hours! In hindsight we should have left earlier, but you keep thinking that surely it won't be long now! When it finally arrived the food was certainly nothing special. We cook and enjoy a meal more at home. Extremely overpriced for what we got.
We heard another couple commenting on the amount of time to be served when they were settling the bill, to be told it takes time to cook such a large piece of meat. Don't be ridiculous. It's a steak! I will definitely not be setting foot in there again.

Great food, but the prices are steep ($28-$36 for mains). Doesn't deserve a return trip.
