A decent place for breakfast. Casual. Poached eggs and hollandaise, Hollandaise was terrible but the ham and toast were wonderful so a mixed bag. Pancakes, sweet and tasty but vastly overpriced for what you get! Ok but not great.

Had breakfast here recently while on holidays, servings were a good size, fresh and tasty. Service was standard really laid back. Took a while to get served and meals to come out. Overall okay.

Awesome - we regularly go there and have never been disappointed. It is often very popular for on weekends for breakfast and sometimes we do need to wait a while...but it's always worth the wait.

I often eat down at the Cats Pyjamas, and overall I think it's a good choice if you are looking for coffee, breakfast, or lunch in Ettalong Beach. The coffee is good, and the stand-outs for lunch is the delicious zucchini fritters or the chicken Parmigiana. The staff are friendly and their most recent hires are making a concerted effort to lift service levels and food standards. If you haven't been here for a while try them again.

Do not eat here, the service was poor, clearly the young waiter had no idea about how to serve, it took five minutes from one main being served to recieve the other, we watched the only other table seated, served an entire meal before our orders were tabled. Outstandingly plain awful was the duck, I figure it was thawed in a microwave then cooked in the same before it touched any cooks hands.
For $32 the duck was tough tasteless and dry, incredibly two maryland pieces of duck sat upon a mountain of vermicelli pasta which was equally tasteless. Management has changed and the menu is way too complicated for the skills or self respect in the kitchen. On paying my clearly unhappy comments to the senior staff no offering was made to reduce the bill, the current Cats Pajamas at Ettalong should be avoided at all costs.
Go across the road to somewhere else better value and a lower risk of dispapointment, highly disappointed.

If you are after yummy thai food, then this is Not the place. Firstly, the cuisine is no longer Thai, despite the banner still up claiming they won the best Thai restaurant on Central Coast in 2009. The food is instead what you would call modern Australian but is more at a pub standard of food than restaurant. Unfortunately, still restaurant prices. It was definitely not value for money!
The food is edible, but quite flavourless and more along the lines of what you would get in a nicer pub bistro. The service was super slow, only half a dozen people in the restaurant (including the two of us) and it still took them 45 minutes to bring out the entree, and then we waited for ages between entree and mains. Needless to say, we didn't stay for dessert.

Surely the worst breakfast experience in my life! It took the staff 35min to get us menus, another 25 minutes to get 4 coffees and who knows how long it took to get our breakfast. It was 130 minutes of torture. We were 4 girls having breakfast, 2 went shopping and the breakfast was not even ready by the time they returned to our table. The table next to us left after they've waited 40 min for a coffee and juice. If you want a pleasant breakfast, don't go to The Cats Pajamas. The sad truth is that it was not the first time that I've experience the same service at the Cats Pajamas but the 3rd :(

When I went there for breakfast, it wasn't too busy, and my gosh it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! The service was actually astounding, the food pretty good, and I dunno if it was really value for money, but still, it was really good.

What happened here? I heard the chef (ex Corner Table) left and the food is certainly evidence to that. Such a shame that the new owner has run this place into the ground. The old owner must be upset after she had built it up to the reputation that it once had. Horrible food. I won't be going back.
