Been here 3 times in the last 2 months. I've had the battered fish and the grilled fish of the day. The battered fish is good, but the grilled fish is so tender and flaky with a nice herb mix scattered over the top. Good value and good fish.

Been a Lipari regular for years, whenever they decide to move a few doors down, we have moved to. A great, simple pizzeria nothing to fancy, but good consistent food and service. I dare say that the last pizza I ordered was a margarita and it was a bit undercooked as the cheese wasn't melted properly but other than that have been very happy with this local.

I didn't even try the food but can tell you all not to bother. Called at 6.30 on a Sunday night and was told the delivery would be 45 minutes. After an hour, I was told to wait another 15 minutes, then was promptly hung up on. After another 15 minutes, I cancelled the order only to have the delivery man arrive 10 minutes later with some abuse! Amazing service.

Sorry that I can't rate the food but I can definitely rate the service.

The best Italian food I have ever tasted. Great pizza and pasta. $28 was a bit too much for 6 pieces of ravioli. Tiramisu is great value for such a huge piece. We were sitting outside and found it hard to flag down the waitress. I had to wave 5 minutes to get a refill of water. But the food was so good I will definitely go back again.

We dined here on a colder night hoping there would be a fire place in the restaurant but only one being in the bar. Shame. Group of 3 people we had entree, main and dessert.

Prices very expensive for the level/quality of food you get, to me the food was a little in the boring side and similar sort of things to what other places similar to this are doing. I guess I don't want foams and gellies I want real food! With real texture. And some seasoning would not go astray!

As for the homemade sourdough. That's not sourdough I can taste the yeast in it! Why do restaurants need to lie? Do they really think customers are dumb, I knew it was yeast because I have been a sourdough baker for 11 years now. On a nice note the waitstaff are brilliant.

I had my 50th birthday at Ruby on 20 May, about 35 people including some children. The original planning and organisation was thorough, and on arrival at Ruby I was made to feel both welcomed and valued. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff and my guests commented favourably on both the venue and the food. This really made a great day even better and I would not hesitate to recommend Ruby for a function. Thanks.

The owners are back from an extended holiday, thank God. With George back in the kitchen all is right with the world. Eating here can be a little like going over to your Dad's. The menu is a concise blackboard list of favourites. Meals arrive when they arrive, but are consistently good, as is the coffee, which arrives swiftly. If he's in the mood to do a pasta special at lunch, it's a must-eat. The guys here are lovely. The cafe has a beautiful humble ambience, with simple wooden furniture and no tricks.

We had a work group function on Monday night for over 20 people, the food was very well priced and service was good with most meals coming out at the same time. The back section was candlelit and was very comforatable for the large group.

Picoolo Padre is an un-assuming little joint on the high street in Rozelle, more or less opposite the post office, near the markets.

It offers a un-adventurous but very reliable and very, very well executed menu of breakfast and lunch staples. The big breakfast, at ~$13 would have to be the cheapest in the Balmain/Rozelle area, and it is both delicious and hearty. I'm a big eater, and it satisfies me every time.

Eggs Benedict are first rate.

But the reason I've finally logged on to give this place a wrap is because of the steak sandwich I ate yesterday. It was fantastic. As those fans of the steak sandwich out there know, good ones are hard to find, and great ones cannot be beat. Piccolo Padre's is certainly great.

Service and coffee/tea/chai were also excellent, as per usual. Stop in for a relatively cheap but very flavoursome and satisfying meal.

Love the concept of the restaurant and had a good chat to the owner about it. It's good to see that they have committed, not only the food is sustainably sourced but the packaging as well and they even get their waste composted at great expense. We dropped in last night for dessert and had the delicious banoffee pie and coffee.

I have already recommended this place to friends and family and am planning to come back soon for dinner. It does look a bit expensive, but I think it's really important to support Australian producers so I am happy to pay.

We came to Rosebud on Mothers day. It was fantastic! There was a big group of us and they were able to fit us all in after a small wait. The food was delicious and the coffee was yummy. The baked eggs were beautiful! Their service was great and they were really helpful fitting us in. We’ll definitely come back and have lunch next time.

Fantastic food, but the portion sizes of some of the mains (gnocchi) are far too small. Flavour and variety were all just great!

Considering it's all organic, and they use rennet free cheeses, it's not too bad but you will probably need three courses, and it will probably cost over $50 per head. I feel that with the small portions, and prices (considering it's vegetarian) it's a bit too dear. Here is also an annoying $3 surcharge on cream/ice-cream with dessert.

The service was great, but the waiting times were long-ish (although we were warned).

My sister and her partner were visiting from NZ so I took them and my partner to Nona Lina's in Rozelle, Sydney for a meal. We all agreed that the pizza and pasta meals were the best tasting we had Ever eaten anywhere! Both my sister and I have travelled extensively through europe and America, and have eaten out extensively, my partner is Italian and we all agree, This place Is the best!

I will be eating there again, recommend to all who love italian food or those who want to try out Italian food. It was not expensive, but the food would not be out of place if it was! I'll never buy the bland fast food pizza's again! Loved it, thank you Nona Lina's.

This is a perfect local pub 'makeover'. The bar and bistro decor has been freshened but not lost touch with this pub's important history in Rozelle. The barstaff are just gorgeous, and the soundtrack is a satisfyingly mash of indie classics. The big news is in the kitchen. The new chef has brought passion to what was a very shoddy dining room. His menu offers pub bistro classics, very well done, but don't be fooled.

All your attention should be directed to the curries. I can't even explain how deliciously layered in taste and sophisticated the curries are. I'll just say it again, go to this pub and have a curry!

We have been here 4 times for brunch and ad a consistently good experience. Even when very busy the service has been good as has the food. One of the reasons that takes us there is their ability to accommodate buggys and small children. It's one of our top choices for Rozelle.

We have been to this restaurant before and it was fantastic! Today was mediocre at best. Service slow, inattentive and the burgers were full of fat and lacked taste. They were simply awful. Has management changed? Need to pick up the act before I'll consider coming back.

This place was a great find. So difficult to find a top notch seafood restaurant with paying $$$. Lots of fish to choose from including some I have never seen before and all from Australia which is hard to find these days. The quality and choice definitely a standout for me including the most unbelievable banoffee pie for dessert.

Service was really friendly and efficient and food arrived quickly. I am from the eastern suburbs and this place is seriously worth the trip over the bridge. Please open a love fish over this side!

Amazing food, smooth coffee, great service, I just cannot get enough of this place. They do the best vegetarian breakfast and sometimes they have Eggs benedict on the specials which is the best I have ever had!

My husband and I purchased an Ouffer voucher for a dinner for two at Signature Grill. We eat dinner out practically every night are always looking for new restaurant experiences. The email title of the Ouffer is really what sparked my initial interest: Mouthwatering Meats Grilled to Perfection! The images of the chips in one of the feature page photos looked outrageous, thick, chunky, and crispy like I love them!.

The offer was for a bottle of red or white wine, 2 entress, 2 mains from the grill and two sides. We live in the CBD, so Rozelle was not too far a cry from home to give it a go.

Unfortunately, it was an awfully rainy evening, one of many nasty summer evenings in Sydney this year. The restaurant was empty besides for the two of us and another couple who sat by the window. This was probably not illustrative of the kind of crowd that’s drawn on a typical weeknight when it isn’t raining cats and dogs.

The restaurant appeared almost unfinished in its design, with stark walls only decorated with a couple of oddly placed paintings. The owner of the restaurant was our server. She and her husband run the show- she manages operations and serves and he is the chef, the man behind the food. I think it’s wonderful when a husband and wife run a business together. It makes me feel like every component of the restaurant from the taste of each dish to the creativity of the menu has that extra dose of TLC. The waitress was very hospitable and served each course with a smile on her face and always inquired how we were enjoying everything. Good customer service is an integral part of a positive dining experience.

We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc Semillion. It was heavier on the sauvignon than the semillion. The wine was soft, light, and well paired with the fish dishes that we ordered for our mains.
I started with a Grilled Haloumi Salad, a mixed salad topped with grilled haloumi and lemon. I adore haloumi cheese when it’s prepared well and I would definitely give a 5 star rating to the Haloumi salad at Signature Grill! The size was very generous, the dressing was light yet citrusy and flavourful, and the haloumi was grilled to perfection.

For my main, I ordered the Fish of the Day, which was a barramundi, served with lemon butter and Harisa sauce on the side. Of course, after seeing the images on ouffer.com, I also ordered a side of chips. The harisa dipping sauce was very necessary, as the fish would have been too plain without it. The harisa sauce complimented the simple fish brilliantly.

Even though dessert didn’t come with the offer, a meal is never complete without something sweet to finish it off! I ordered the affogato for dessert. I had only tried affogato one other time at a restaurant in Pyrmont and was blown away by it. The affogato at Signature Grill was not half as tremendous as the one that sat on a pedestal in my recent memory. Perhaps the quality of the ice cream was less fine or perhaps it was the espresso shot that tasted a hint of burnt. I might be tempted to try the Baily’s Brulee next time instead!
