We had lunch here using a Living Social voucher and were very impressed with the decor, service and meal options. It was great to see a varied cafe menu with very reasonable prices. Being a local, I'll be sure to stop by in future for economical breakfasts and lunches.

Went on a voucher for 2 entrees, 2 mains, and 2 desserts for $49.

For entree we ordered the garlic prawns and chicken sekuwa. Not bad but nothing special, chicken was slightly burnt.

For mains we ordered the butter chicken and a lamb curry. The serving were ridiculously small in a tiny little metal cup around 8cms circumference and 5cms tall. The butter chicken was quite nice but the lamb curry was watery and flavourless so I had to add salt just to get more flavour but it still tasted horrible.

For dessert we ordered some donut ball in syrup and a coffee pannacotta. The pannacotta was nice but the donut thing wasn't.

Overall below average experience and wouldn't go again. Also the music they play is very annoying.

Food was Ok, I seem to remember the food being quite nice but on a recent trip I found the food to be lacking flavour.

My main problem was their 'Management Decision' not to allow customers to use Eftpos to pay. They will accept Visa and Mastercard but I was told that management will not allow them to accept Eftpos as payment. This made me quite angry as this is the first ever time I have been confronted with such a decision.

I was completely shocked that I was forced to leave the restaurant and walk up the street to use an Atm. This situation is a disgrace, they have the terminal in which to use Eftpos but don't allow customers to use it. This decision is even more crazy when you consider how many other Thai restaurants are in the Spot that are either just as good or better.

I will never return because of this stupid decision and this is just another example of how disconnected restaurant owners can be from their clientèle.

Yummy food but possibly smallest servings this side of malacca. Popularity seems to have gone to their heads, too - a complaint about the paltry size of rendang fell on deaf ears. Terrible, terrible attitude, terrible value for money, leaving a terrible taste in my mouth (which is a shame as the food is better than average).

My wife and I popped for lunch after a movie @ the Ritz this afternoon. From the specials board we both chose the Beef Daube Pie with Chocolate Mousse for $16. The menu had the price @ $20. The waiter, a very polite young French fellow, was surprised that the board was so wrong and he appropriately charged us the $16.

The pie was 'homemade' and pretty good albeit the meat a bit dry, but I didn't mind that too much. It came with a green salad dressed with a good quality balsamic vinegar. However, the mousse appeared to be a little old being thick and dry on top. It tasted Ok. The coffee was not as good as it should have been. However, it was a nice place to sit on a sunny afternoon.

Overall, our experience didn't convince us to return for an evening meal.

Food is awesome here! I have eaten here with my whole family and I will give it 10 out of 10 in food category, service is average but I guess they can improve, I've been to Peru with my family and to be quite honest the food here is awesome and it taste even better than in Peru, give this place a go we have eaten in many restaurants in Sydney and this Peruvian Restaurant will be in my top 5.

Truly superb Moroccan food (Tagine Lamb is best I've had) let down only by service.

So, the bad: waitress is arrogant, difficult, rude. Don't know if it was the senior staff on duty but he was inflexible (with a straight face, no apologies or consideration in his decision to refuse minor requests). Odd that they would behave in a place that otherwise is truly a worthwhile dining experience.

The ambience takes you straight in from the moment you enter: colourful, Moroccan lamps and decorations everywhere, well lit, pleasant music... also busy and vibing without being too loud. Food of course is the highlight, excellent light and delicate couscous, tagine dishes that are super rich flavoured and a good menu and selections that won't disappoint. Just consider whether service can be a damper on your evening, because it was for us and many other reviewers it seems!

Currently sitting in the restaurant, waiter just walked past me and nudged my chair. It's 540pm - the sign said there was a special "happy hour" price if u order before 6pm - $8.50 for pasta. When I asked the waiter she said that was for takeaway only and it was $10.50. Another waiter just nudged my chair.

Pasta has arrived, it's quite small. Table next to me just asked about happy hour and got the same response. Saving grace is that the flavor of my putanesca is quite good! Girlfriend ordered seafood, wasn't very fresh, overall impressed by the taste but just got hurried up by the waiter, spent about 25 minutes here and they are trying to move us along, just walked out and happy hour sign on the front didn't mention anything about takeaway, can't help but feel they are intentionally tricking customers using fake happy hour prices, definitely won't be coming back.

The cakes here will blow your mind.

Everything I've tried is super delicious, and decadent. But then they also have a whole host of simpler biscuits and pastries. The best thing is that they have individual sized versions of their larger cakes, so you can eat one in shop, and then take the larger cake home to share.

When I wanted a custom made cake for an event, they were super accommodating, and the end result was really impressive.

It's in an already brimming area in Randwick, hence, the queues out the door, but the cakes/pastries are well worth the wait. I Hope they Don't open a chain.

Been a few times here. As with all restaurants, it can vary on waiting times for food and quality of service from staff. I think this restaurant is excellent and I will accept that it's not always the same each time I go and I still recommend it to friends or colleagues or anyone dining in the spot.

What a shame, this once great place for a quality steak is now like an rsl meal at restaurant prices. Not sure if it is new owners or the previous owner trying to cut cost but whatever the situation is they need to remind themselves what everyone knows the dog for and that is its great steaks served on steak stone hot plates. Dined there today and the veges were like frozen hospital food and the salad was just ordinary. A very sad situation there now and I would not recommend it to anyone anymore.

I had an incredibly horrible experience at this restaurant last night. My friend and I had wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time as we had heard great things and finally got around to it. Although the food was amazing, the treatment we received from one of the waitresses was rude, aggressive and threatening. We were there after buying a voucher off living social which included entrée, mains and a bottle of red/white wine.

The waitress brought out white wine and we asked if we could have red wine instead. The waitress told us that the red had run out and we could only have white wine. We merely wanted to enquire about the possibility of getting a more expensive bottle of red and paying the difference but instead of politely and calmly telling us that that was not possible, she ended up pointing her finger in my face, yelling at me, telling me what a bad day she had and that the last thing she needed was customers like us. She refused to let us speak to anyone else and then ignored us.

A while later she came back with 2 complimentary glasses of lemonade for what I guessed was going to be an apology for her behaviour. She instead put the lemonade on the table and stated that after 7 years of working in the industry, she has never been pushed so far as to make her loose her temper- she made me feel even worse by saying that I had been a rude customer when I really wasn't trying to be difficult. As paying customers, we didn’t expect to be yelled at when we were trying to have a nice night out.

Extremely shaken up and disappointed and will never go back again!

The food here is of a high standard and our group found our wait staff to be very friendly, helpful and efficient and nothing like the reviews below. Staff regularly came by to clear plates, refill our water and generally check how we were going.

We ordered chicken wings, ham croquettes, patatas bravas, chorizo, empanadillas, meatballs and paella for two. Despite other reviews, we found the food to be fresh and did not appear to be reheated. It's true that the food comes out fairly quickly, which may cause some people to be suspicious, but as someone of Spanish descent who's familiar with cooking many of these dishes, I know that with the preparation time involved in most tapas dishes, it's necessary to prepare dishes to a certain extent in advance and complete cooking close to serving time.

The meatballs for example would've had to be slow cooked over several hours, so it's likely they have a large pot simmering in the kitchen which they serve portions from. Likewise, dishes like the empanadillas and croquettes would need to be prepared a bit in advance but most likely dropped into the deep fryer when ready to be served as an order.

Overall, I'd definitely dine here again.

Mother purchased 2 scoopons for the family for dinner out on a saturday night. Their service was impeccable. The waiters were all friendly and obliging. The atmosphere was warm, clean and well renovated as were the bathrooms.

The food itself is rather pricey on the menu and I can see why it was slightly quiet. The quality of the raw food was quite good, and a single platter easily fills up two people.

My brother and I dined here on a Saturday evening early last month. The place was buzzing on our arrival. Luckily we had booked.

We ordered their 11 courses for $50.00 from their menu in the downstairs Public Bar. This is their Chefs Selection Feasting Menu which includes (shared) Entrees, (choice) of Main, (shared) Puddings.

While everything looked terrific on presentation,, every course tasted quite salty that evening, from the very first course to the last. I was especially "put off" by the saltiness of their dates, not that I really enjoyed eating dates.

The service staff were very good and efficient. We may have to try their upstair dining room menu next time.

First visit for me and my wife after reading good reviews about the restaurant. It was Sunday night and the restaurant was only half full, which is similar to other restaurants around the area.

We had a crepe filled stuffed with veal meat and goulash soup as entree. Both were excellent, the veal was tender & moist and the goulash soup was very tasty & hearty.
This was followed by their specials on the night, cabbage roll and a pork chop dish. Both servings were very big and well worth the money.

The cabbage roll had generous servings of cooked shreded cabbages on top of a leave roll with stuffed rice & veal mince. It also came with some baked potatoes. The pork chop came with a capsicum sauce, which is nice, but nothing to shout about. Still, there was 2 large pieces of pork chops.

We were full by the time we got through the mains, but couldn't resist sharing a dessert, which was the guten (?) pancake. It was a crepe filled with mashed nuts (can't recall what type of nuts it was) with warm chocolate sauce topping. It was not overly sweet and very nice.

We saw other tables having schnitzels and garlic breads, which we will definitely come back to try. Ambience-wise, it's an old school Eastern European feel to the place, which for us is great. Service was very prompt and friendly.

Overall, we spent $75 without any drinks but was very full. We would have love to try their knuckles but they were not available that night. We will definitely come back to this nice restaurant again.

I went last night (Friday) for a birthday. The food is great. Had eaten it before when they were at the Coast. The service is great. Only complaint is that it is only a fairly small restaurant and they try to cram too many in. One big issue for me is the wine list. They sell Gossips wine for $18 a bottle! Gossips is Dan Murphy's "home" brand which sells for about $3. I don't think an upmarket restaurant should have Gossips wine on their list!
