Slow service but the food was good enough. Not great but good and they were accommodating for our group with vegetarian requirements. Slow to replenish water or take our orders. OK.

This thai place has to be the worst that me and my husband have eaten at. I'm really disappointed as we booked for our anniversary and were looking forward to it as the reviews were high for this place. Very disappointed as there were nicer restaurants to chose from at nelson bay and we ended up at a place we couldn't wait to get out of.
The only dish I thought was edible was the rice. The BBQ squid was very tough and left as is (what a waste of food). The rest of the meals were tasted and also left.
I do give credit where it is due, the waiter did his job very well considering he was the only one working the tables. I seriously do not reccommend this place, you're better off trying many of the other restaurants nearby. If you do go I do wish you better luck and food.

Good Thai food in a predictably decorated restaurant. Service was under par, we asked for more rice, and were told 2 minutes later "It's coming". Probably would re-visit but would love it if they scrapped the plastic tablecloths first, they're tacky (literally). Otherwise, all ok.

This place is excellent. What more can I say? A refreshing change in Nelson Bay, and more than indicated by their booking numbers when other places are quiet.

We visit nearly every time we go to the bay, the food is always good and the service attentive and friendly. My husband orders the pla lard prig (whole snapper) each time and says it is up there with the best he has had. The kids always eat all their dinner at this place! Good vegetarian options for those in the family who need them and massaman beef and sweet and sour chicken always popular with the others. Great family restaurant.

Having Thai chefs in the kitchen is a real asset. The food is perfect, as is the service. David, the proprietor, is always friendly and keen to strike up a conversation.

Went here last night (it's a regular haunt when we're up for a weekend), and it was packed, as per usual. We've tried many different dishes over the years, and I'd be here all day typing them, but three dishes we always order are veg red curry, garlic pepper prawns, and tofu with mint and corriander. I've never had a bad meal or dish from here.

Brilliant food. We get take away from here every time we visit nelson bay on holidays, and everything that we have had has been fine. The only problem, it is a bit overpriced, possibly due to lack of competition. The Mussaman is brilliant!

Restaurant has excellent food, just as good if not better than Sydney Thai restaurants. Ordered Panang chicken, mussaman beef. Both dishes were superb (especially the panang). Rice for 2 was ordered. It came and they dished it on our plates from one of those little silver urns, then took it away again (weird). They said they didn't have enough. Highly recommend the food.
