We came here for dinner on a Sunday night not knowing what to expect of the eateries in Port Melbourne. There were quite a few people at this cafe so we thought we'd give it a go.

We had the fish dinner for 2, which were 2 pieces of fish, 2 potato scallops (called potato cakes in Melbourne), and chips. The meal for 2 is $20 without drinks. The food was fine, nothing outstanding. My fish batter was crispy but the fish inside was a bit soggy. The taste was okay.

The serve was a good size. But you get lots of chips and I mean lots!! A whole large basketful. I was wishing I hadn't ordered a separate meal for my toddler because he could have shared our chips and still have some leftover. And that's why I scored 10 for value. The place can get a bit noisy, but it is a family friendly place.

Very nice service! Called in only one day before they came on time and did a wonderful job on my carpet! Deon even gave me sum cleaner for my wall too n he offered lots of info about house cleaning. My room became extremely clean right away they were done! Smells great! I'd def recommend it!

This is the first cafe we have been when we moved to the neighborhood. I was really looking forward to try their menu. One morning on the weekend, we went to try their breakfast menu. The portion size was good not too much, it was just right size. I ordered the baked eggs but was surprised to see the running eggs in my plate (expect to see running egg yolk but egg white too really?) I asked the waitress afterward and asked her if this is how the dish suppose to be? She said yes. Perhaps I did not have enough baked eggs in my life. About the coffee, they made nice coffee, if they can get the order right. We were looking forward to try their dinner menu before but with the service we had in the breakfast, I would rather go to other places for the feed.

Like most people, I found this company on google. With that being written, I was not let down. The cleaners showed up and cleaned a 12' linear couch in exactly one hour. I was there the whole time and was very satisfied with the work they did. They cleaned every inch of that couch and I will be calling them back in another 6 months to do it again. We have three dogs, one toddler and a newborn due in April.

Great food. Awesome coffee. Value for money... Big portions. Welcoming environment! Attentive staff. Been here 3 times! Young manager now brings me my coffee as he sees me coming in. Feel special! Definitely a regular.

This restaurant only seems to serve everything with garlic. Having some food intolerances it is difficult at this restaurant, to find anything to eat apart from garlic! I asked for mash without garlic or roasted potatoes. Not possible. Not flexible at all. So if you have any food intolerance ie: fructose or celiac don't go to this restaurants they cannot assist or change anything to help. We also ordered steak and a mixed meat and seafood dish, meat was not cooked to our request, I requested my steak to be cooked medium however it was served well done. My friends seafood dish was good. Service was fine and the ambiance good as well.

Rather disappointing. This was one of our favourites. Have always loved the setting, the food, the service, the atmosphere. Loved the flounder, the sushi, the mussels and they have been more than obliging to my coeliac condition. Recent dining experiences have seen the standards dramatically drop. A lack of attention by everyone at this venue has left a bad taste in my mouth. Paella was overpriced for over cooked rice, snapper was over cooked,. If you drop standards, then they should be dropping prices too.

The soiled green carpet and old wood panelling gives it some character, however, the true characters are those languishing at the bar enjoying their pints of Carlton Draught. These patrons looked like they had been there since the place started trading and it didn't look as if they were going to be dislodged any time soon.
