    Having been to the Whale & Ale a few times and food has always been very good myself and a few work friends went for Christmas dinner, sorry but it was awful why would any chef serve dinner in a bowl, far too much meat was with the dinner and of no taste whatsoever. Sorry but very disappointing and waste of money. Kitchen staff needs to get his act together.

    New and busy pub which has a great atmos in the dining and bar area. Great selection of beers on tap and the food is served in good portions but a little pricey for what is std pub fare.
