The food was edible, but of a poor chinese restaurant standard. The seafood was not cooked well at all. The portions were small, the prices were ridiculous. Service was slow. I've been to many chinese restaurants in Perth, this is probably the bottom of the lot. It's most likely the case that they charge for the location. If you're going for the quality of food. It's a huge disappointment.

Very expensive. Bad or no service, we were ignored. Food portions small. Weren't told when 4 desserts had sold out. Just left sitting wondering, in the meantime other had finished theirs. Had to constantly ask for water. Meals took forever to arrive, no excuse considering the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night. The senior staff was the rudest. The staff couldn't understand or speak English or chose not to. The table next to us had all the waiters fussing over them. Don't waste your time or money going there.

There's not many better ways to spend a Friday after work then to grab a few drinks and head for a nice meal. The location of Shun Fung lends itself perfectly to this cause. Both the food and service are excellent, and being able to sit on the balcony overlooking the river as the sun goes down caps off the evening brilliantly.

Not the cheapest Chinese around, however, definitely worthwhile considering the quality of food that you get, and not more than you would spend elsewhere on classy dinner. I can highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking to get themselves some good chinese at mid range prices.
