Located in an uninviting industrial area, I can only imagine that the gawdy, christmassy lights are there as a kind of landing strip to differentiate it from the surrounding warehouses.

The service was ok, but made me feel like I was in an American franchise eatery.
The menu was riddled with embarrassing spelling errors and inexplicably, used a 'three chilli' system for indicating the spiciness of the various dishes, although none indicated three chillis, and most had none. This, along with the inclusion of items such as chicken parmigiana on the menu made me immediately suspicious that I was in for some 'round eye' thai tonight.

The 'golden bags' at $9.90 for entree, had crunchy, delicate pastry, but the filling was blandly anonymous. I couldn't have guessed what was in them if it wasn't written on the menu. The stirfried prawns with peppercorns, chilli and vegetables were surprisingly good, and generous on the prawns, although at $26 with an extra charge of $3 for steamed rice made me feel a little ripped off, as much better thai restaurants, better located, offer similar fare for much less.

The kick in the guts though, came with the Roxby Rocky Road Sundae for dessert, which at $9.90, was completely excretable. The icecream was much too soft and there was too much cream. There were no nuts, which the menu stated it did. The marshmallows were tiny and tough, like those ones that come with instant hot chocolate. I'm pretty sure the candy pieces were hastily chopped up pieces of allen's red frogs. Half of the sundae also seemed to be composed of unmanageably large, bland pieces of chocolate brownie, which were not described on the menu.

All in all, I would say not a terrible option if you're local, but stick to the mains. I for one, will not be going back.
