We went to the new Gold Lounge for lunch on Australia Day. There was No service. We were not welcomed, told anything, or directed to the theatre. By the time we realized we should go in, as we were waiting for an usher, the ads had started, and we had to find our seats in the dark, then work out how they operate. The sound was so loud, everyone was commenting sarcastically about it, and giggling.

I rang the service bell to ask if the sound could be adjusted, but was ignored, so had to wait till our food was brought to ask. The pizza I ordered was cold and doughy and my husbands squid was piping hot. I received the incorrect sweet. The iced coffee, was just packet coffee whipped up, no ice, no cream, no icecream, and consisted of 4 mouthfuls.

The food was awful, small serves, and very expensive. The session cost us $148.00. I will never go again. I was so disappointed, as I enjoy going to Midland and Carousel Gold Lounges.
