If you get on the wrong side of the young lady who is the so called manager, well you could find yourself told to go find another place to eat and being told to leave after waiting 15 minutes before even sitting down. Training is needed at Pizza Bella Roma and reading other reviews I am not alone here. I wanted to be able to contact the owners to tell them of my complaint but was told they did not know the name... oh dear. We ate else where that night and was treated with the normal freo smiling service. So lift your game Pizza Bella Roma, this used to be a place we loved. Not any more.

Pizza Bella Roma has really gone downhill! whats happened! Our Pizza took over 50 minutes to come and when it did it was burnt, the waitress was rude and abrupt and my son spilled his drink which they took over 10 minutes to clean it up (after a lady nearly fell on our table). I will not be dining there in a hurry, so many other fantastic restaurants further down the strip in Freo.

The service is extremely poor, the staff are rude, some staff can't understand english very well. Also they give you hot water and glasses which are dirty and then they expect you to not bring your own drinks (water/cooldrinks) otherwise they charge you money when it's your own drink that you have already paid for somewhere else if you can't get decent cold water and clean cups then why charge the customer for bringing their own drinks like be reasonable please thats all I ask.

The food is really good though but as for the service it definitely needs to be improved and the customers should get cold water not hot water and clean glasses should be provided not dirty glasses.

Staff need better training. One staff member didn't know what penne pasta was and had to consult another waitress (this is an italian restaurant). We went for a late afternoon meal on 1 June, being a public holiday there is a 15% surcharge. The spicy beef tagliatelli wasn't spicy and quite bland. The veal with mushrooms comes with your choice of salad or chips. I ordered salad to receive half a head of lettuce, a bit ridiculous really.

There was also an order of large mussels and small mussels. When they came out the waitress didn't know which was which. When it came time to pay the bill they had charged for two large mussels. We had to ask for water, ask for the drinks we ordered and the bread that was to come with the mussels. The food came out at very different times. We have been going on and off for about 20 years, never again.

We've eaten pizza twice already this week, so we didn't feel like another pizza. We ordered 3 pastas and 1 salad, all of which were pretty standard boardering bad. The carbonara was a little oily and gluggy, ceasar salad lost some of it's traditional ingreds. To do it again I would stick to the pizza menu that I saw being delivered to the other tables. The service was okay for a Saturday lunch service but needs some focus and direction.
