I have been to Bistro Felix twice and the first time had a really good meal but when I went last night I was appalled it started badly right from the get go.
Firstly the lady that got our reservation 5 days before never wrote it down so they couldn't find it anywhere we still managed to get a table.

The food came out really quickly and was not of anywhere near the same quality we had the first time. Our mains came out before our entree plates were even cleared which gave us a feeling that the table was double booked. Surely enough just as we ordered desserts they told us we had to move as the other table was here. So 1 hour after we arrived we had to leave I will never be returning after this incident.

I went out for a rare lunch with my partner to Reid's Lounge one Friday lunchtime, unfortunately, the experience wasn't a pleasant one. We ordered Chermoula Beef Skewers, not nice, the quality of meat being used for these was disgusting, it was chewy like lamb and had lots of fat lumps on most of the meat pieces which we had to pick off (or spit out!), I wasn't even convinced it was beef and if it was then it was a very poor cut of meat.

The rest of the tapas we ordered were very salty and not particularly pleasant. I was really disappointed as I have eaten in Ishka before and the food there was great and for a $70 lunch I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I won't be visiting here again despite the beautiful location.

The food was as horrid as the location is spectacular. There was simply nothing edible offered at a quite pricey buffet lunch on Sunday. Although billed a a seafood buffet, on offer were a few plates of tasteless defrosted small shrimp and shrivelled defrosted frozen oysters The two meat courses consisted of roast beef and roast lamb, both of which were roasted to death and too dry to swallow. Other offerings appeared to have been made the day before and reheated.

The service was appalling. Essential condiments and crockery were missing. The staff behave like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld. Although there were certainly plenty of staff milling around, no one seemed to know what their job was. Whoever supplies the catering to this establishment should be dismissed immediately.

Food was fantastic, crunchy fish, chips, dim sums, chiko roll without that nasty oily taste. Only issue is no eftpos but otherwise fantastic food.

Nice big barn-like atmosphere with the brewery section visible. I didn't eat but had a good time sampling the four beers on offer.
