These guys won "Perth's Best Steakhouse" in 2009 and being a massive carnivore, I had to go. I was not disappointed. The place is a stunner, and the beers on tap are all amazing, and it's great they're brewing again (nice to have a microbrewery in the city).
The menu was astounding, so many different cuts of meat, including the penultimate Wagyu "Tomahawk Steak" - theses babies egt up to 2.7 kg! We had a one between four of us, with sides (real mushy peas, yay!) and it was hand-carved right at our table by one of the chefs. He even had to being an extra table to add to ours, everyone was looking at us, it was classic.
Overall, not too expensive but still up there, but you get what you pay for and the servings are a good size. Go the Tomahawk for sure, its' a blast and the meat is amazing!

I wished I read the first review before making my decision on which restaurant to eat out at as the lady was absolutely accurate. Service was atrocious, the guy serving us looked like we had owe him $ the whole night. He forgot our wine order and attended to our table once the whole night. When the mains were out 40 minutes after we had finished out starters, our table were still cluttered with entree cutlery, which he quickly cleaned up while the other waiter held on to 3 mains awkwardly waiting to leave the food down.
Food came out real slow, got there at 7.30 pm and did not get to finish dinner till 10.45 pm. Steak was also too cooked. 10% surcharge on everything on weekends.
Will never go back again.

They serve average food using best ingredient and their service was absolutely WARM (Western Australian Rude and teenage-Minded hospitality). I heard of this term while I was reading a review of a hotel in Perth but I didn't quite feel that way until we received a very poor service at this restaurant.
We arrived there early so started with a drink. The staff at the bar was rude enough to make us uncomfortable and as we headed to the restaurant, the 'manager-looking like' guy didn't even look at us so we had to wait until he'd spare a second to glance at us. His attitude was so arrogant that we felt as though we had to serve him. In addition, we were the first customers arrived but served after all other tables ordered.
Anyway, oysters as a starter were quite fresh and tasty but steaks as main was medium well done when we ordered medium, which was a shame when we paid 60 dollars for a steak. Dessert we had was soft centred chocolate pudding which redeemed it. Almost.
As we received the bill, we realised they overcharged for some of the wines we had. My boyfriend just wanted to pay it and leave but I felt as though that wasn't the right thing to do - they were being cheeky as well as being very rude throughout their service. As the manager-looking guy came to pick up the bill, we asked him to double check the wine price and he didn't hesitate to say it was correct. So I specified which of them were over charged and he replied "They just come out of the computer automatically." and left with the bill.
When he returned, he simply said, "Corrected the price of dessert wine". There was no apologies or excuses or whatsoever and we found they still didn't change the price for the red wine. My patience was wearing thin and said, "It's not just about one or two dollars. How come we cannot hear any apologies or anything like that." Then he said, "Ok, I apologise."
I was absolutely furious as leaving the restaurant. I've lived in Sydney over two years, now living in Melbourne and I haven't come across to a reastaurant like this so far. We like dining out and having nice food because it makes us 'happy' at the end of the day. In that sense, this restaurant is the last one I'd recommend to anybody.
We received a lot better service at a small family-run cafe near to the hotel we stayed, paying 13 dollars for breakfast. That wasn't the best breakfast in the world but we were much better welcomed and it was a simply pleasant experience on the contrary to this arrogant and rude restaurant.
