Overview of Le Temple

A classic French restaurant serving excellent food in a lovely, romantic environment. The host, Marie, seemed to be out of time; she was all that I had expected of a waitperson and host from 40 years ago. People like her seem to have left the industry and her graciousness and professionalism was a joy! The food that I ate last night was as if I had been transported to a beautiful, rural French restaurant in France. I would never have expected such a brilliant meal just off Fremantle's South Terrace.

Divine desserts! Relaxed atmosphere, extensive menu. Marie the host was very chatty with us. The complimentary baguette bread and butter was made on site and was delicious. Lovely wine list with a mix of australian and french wines. A great find.

Diane and I were honoured to dine at Le Temple last evening. To say it was a rare and sublime experience would be an understatement. I was transported to a beautiful, romantic dining experience somewhere in rural France (believe me that is the highest compliment) where the ambience, the food and the service were from another time and place. Words fail me in my poor attempt to praise this restaurant enough.
