Waitstaff are impeccable at service. They wait at the table when they notice you need anything at all. Very accommodating, have been there with a few friends who have allergies to certain foods and they were excellently catered to. Only bad thing is leaving with the smell of steak all over your clothes but that's not a very bad thing as it smells wonderful and the dressings that come with the food are great.
Portions appear small but looks can be deceiving as the meals are very filling and the little potato sides are great. I get the Surf and Turf when I go and I am yet to be disappointed and all of my friends who I recommend there also agree.

I have attended Lava Stonegrill with my partner on a number of occasions, and still to this day, the staff have yet to let us down.
We usually have the mixed grill which comprises of a lava rock, with half cooked chicken, pork and lamb on it. Your mission is to cook the meal to your liking on this rock which is served at your table. It is served with a side of vegetables and sauces to compliment the meal. The flavours which eventuate from the meal once you are done cooking are absolutely divine. My only problem is knowing how they do it, so I am able to replicate the flavours of the meal at home.
This is a must visit restaurant with that quirky theme of having to cook the meal yourself, may be a bit of a hazard if you are taking kids with you as you could go home with children with burnt hands if they are not careful. Dessert is served in the same fashion, though on a frozen stone with a comparable quality of food (though the main course is the show stopper).
