Highly recommended. Their food is delicious with an affordable and reasonable price considering the portion, quality and service they provided! I give 5 stars. The crabs are huge, meaty, fresh-tasting and we love it. Simply gotta return for more!

My favourite crab place in Perth, Chilli crab. Food was great as usual. Love the chilli crab! yummy! The people there are friendly and helpful, which is a silver services restaurant and the price of a hawker center, mean cheap and good.

We regularly go to James St Kitchen and it is always of a consistent high quality and prompt and friendly service. We have sat down to a few mud crabs usually one in black pepper and the other in egg yolk. Very delicious.

I also love the Peking style pork spare ribs. They are the best I have had anywhere. Good value for money as well and I leave completely full every time. I am on the way there today for a late Sunday lunch. I can't wait.

I've been couple of times to this restaurant before and the service has been quite poor but the quality of the food is quite good.

Today I went there and it seems that the ownership of the restaurant has changed and the service is dreadful. The waitress who took the order complained that we spent too much time deciding what we want to have. She even said that we are wasting her time. I’m speechless therefore we just stood up and left the restaurant. I still can’t imagine she said wasting her time.

I’ve never ever experienced this kind of situation before. If you guys want to go to this restaurant. Better think twice. I think they should receive the award for their worst customer service ever…
